Crema's Take
“Lucky Duck operates out of a restored old bank building and functions as part café, part wine shop, part home goods store—a genuinely unusual setup that reviewers seem to love as much for the vibe as for the coffee itself. The pastries (particularly the twice-baked hazelnut croissant) and a rotating food vendor on the patio get specific praise, and staff apparently know their stuff about both drinks and wine. That said, this is based on just 5 reviews, so it's too early to call it reliably excellent—but the early signal is promising if you're in Carlton and want something more interesting than a standard coffee stop.”
What to expect

Their twice baked hazelnut croissant and fig leaf ricotta danish were super! They have a temporary food vendor on the patio out back with outstanding small plate dishes, their stone fruit and tomato salad was a star, the grilled cornbread elote and ribeye tacos was great
