Crema's Take

Tucked into Exeter's charming downtown in a lovingly restored brick industrial building, Market Square Bakehouse is an espresso-focused café where you can linger over thoughtfully roasted coffee and exceptional house-made pastries alongside creative paninis that locals rave about. The cozy, family-friendly atmosphere makes it the kind of place you'll want to return to on weekends, whether you're catching up with friends or enjoying a quiet moment with a well-crafted latte and a buttery croissant.

Turkey panini today was one of the best sandwich I ever had. Past curry chicken sandwich almost as good. Love having coffee and sandwich at this place on weekends! Highly recommend. 10/10.

Absolutely love this place! Great selection of coffee(with ability to buy coffee they roasted) and food( croissant selection is good, their sandwiches are super tasty), it also has snacks for kids, so highly recommended! Never had bad experience there.

We found this lovely bake shop when we recently stayed in Amesbury. We enjoyed the atmosphere, great coffees in a lovely old brick building built within the old industrial buildings which have been preserved from the days of the mills. The sandwiches too were very good

An enjoyable little cafe that serves all types of coffee ☕. Pastries, 🥪 sandwiches, tea 🍵 and canned and bottled drinks available. Friendly service! WiFi available. I had the medium roast coffee with three donut muffins to wash it down. Both tasted good. This place can get very busy! People were using the outdoor seating to enjoy their purchase. I liked the lighting fixtures. Large mason 🫙 jars with a small 💡 lightbulb inside. Bathroom is handicap accessible and has a baby changing 🚼 table. Prices reasonable. I recommend a visit.

In a charming town with hanging baskets and friendly locals we discovered this bakery for lunch. Lattes was great and the paninis were crusty and eclectic. Blueberry muffin was excellent . (I took one star off as we stared at the huge menu board for 5 minutes , ordered then were told actually none of them were actually available and to only pick from the display unit lol ). Has a very nice outside area and inside area. Parking around the corner . Nice Staff and Dog friendly :) .
