Wailua Shave Ice

Our first time having shave ice and it didn't disappoint! Loved the almond joy with ice cream on the bottom! There are seats inside if you want to come in and eat or you can take it to go.

Best shave ice in Kauai! We were driving past the area during our first day and ensured we visited almost every day, sometimes taking a 1-2 hour detour! One such detour resulted in a 6-hr delay due to road blockage but none of us were complaining. Our fav was the Ube with coconut flakes!!

Fair price for their portions. Delicious and shaved ice was enjoyable to eat than other spots I've tried and their ice is hard or rough. As you walk in you're greeted and kudos for smiling. Will be back next trip!

Yummy!! They have some fun flavors here at Wailua shave ice. The ladies making the shave ice were very friendly. There’s also outdoor seating. Can’t wait to try another one of their flavors.

By far this has been the best shave ice of our trip! Tried Jojo's was not the kind of shave ice we were expecting, thicker chunks and not smooth. Wailua is the place to get that nice smooth shave ice! The fresh fruit on top was amazing. All of the shave ice we tried was delicious and they are open until 9PM. If you have been on Kauai for longer than 2 days you will notice most places close up early or before 7pm. We will be back for more shave ice before we head back home!
