Crema's Take

Cappuccino on Collins has earned deep loyalty from Bismarck regulars who appreciate its genuinely welcoming atmosphere and the recent ownership's commitment to keeping the space vibrant and inviting. Whether you're lingering over a specialty drink, fueling up before work, or settling in with your laptop for the afternoon, the consistently friendly baristas and cozy, upbeat vibe make it feel less like a transaction and more like visiting a neighbor's kitchen. It's the kind of place that works equally well for a solo coffee moment or a casual meetup, with enough character to keep locals coming back for years.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I’ve been going to Cappuccino on Collins since I was a little girl, and it’s always held a special place in my heart. Over the years the shop has had a few different owners, but Patricia has truly made it her own. She brings such warmth, care, and creativity to the table—it feels like more than just a coffee stop, it’s a piece of our community. I’ll admit, I don’t get in as often as I should, but every time I do I’m reminded why I love it here. The atmosphere is cozy, the drinks are always spot on, and it’s wonderful knowing you’re supporting a local, woman-owned business with so much heart behind it. If you’re in the area, I highly suggest stopping by and enjoying everything Patricia and Cappuccino on Collins have to offer.

I stopped by this establishment at brunch time and got a toasted bagel. I brought it home with some cheese and ham from Butcher Block around the corner for a delicious sandwich. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming inside the shop with plenty of seating. There is a restroom onsite. I plan to stop by again, but I don't drink coffee so I'll have to try a different beverage. Staff could have been a little more friendly, just quiet.

I live on the road and always seek unique and interesting coffee shops. A quick Google search, and "Cappuccino On Collins" was close by. How could I go wrong? I didn't. Great place. Homey feel. Constant stream of local customers. I ordered a Cappuccino... It was in the after all. The barista greeted me as soon as I entered. (That was nice.) A group of people who were sitting at a nearby table greeted me as well. My cappuccino was well balanced. Made with 2% milk, was just the right amount of creamy. The espresso was not harsh or bitter. They also serve various delicious looking muffins and pastries. As I sit here and write this review, clusters of people are having conversations and are clearly comfortable here. Give them a try.

Support local! :) I enjoy coming here. The atmosphere is inviting and comfy. The baristas are always friendly. I have only been here a limited number of times, but I've always had great service. The pistachio muffins are great. They serve a milk alternative for those of us with an intolerance. The menu is limited to a few major drinks, but they make up for it in flavor. If you get a chance, drop by, they're great! Dog friendly on the outside.

New ownership has been great for this place! Glad Mandan has a decent coffee shop right off main Street. I love the vibe of this place - very upbeat and friendly. The Americano I got was average at best, but the friendly service and great location add a little something extra for me. When I'm visiting my parents who live in Mandan, this is a great place to get coffee with my mom and chat!
