Crema's Take
“Nestled in Fort Lauderdale with a charming farmers market vibe, The Groves Coffee House pairs expertly crafted Cuban coffee and specialty drinks with surprisingly stellar fresh food—think perfectly made arepas with steak and avocado, Cuban sandwiches, and empanadas that'll have you kicking yourself for not ordering more. The space feels thoughtfully designed for lingering over a slow coffee or meeting a friend, with genuinely warm service that keeps people coming back again and again. Came here for the second time and its always great. This was the first time I tried the sandwiches/food items and I wish I would have tried it sooner. I had the steak, avocado and cheese arrepa which was great and full. My girlfriend had the lechon sandwich and she loved it. The portions were big, filling, and worth the price. They also have a stand with sauces to try. We tried the Chipotle one, we were a big fan because we do like it more in the spicy side, but if you dont like to much spicy, then definitely give it a try. We also tried the garlic sauce, which is just a creamy garlic and you can taste the garlic, wasnt bad at all, and then we tried the garlic cilantro, which who doesnt like garlic cilantro sauce lol. That one was our favorite, but I tried a bite with all 3 sauses and together it was fire. We went and got a smoothie and its never bad honestly. You can remove something you dont like, and im not a big pie person, but honestly the pies I saw really made me want to try one. So maybeeee next time ill give it a try. Highly recommend.
Nice little sandwich, coffee and juice shop with farmers market. The sandwiches were made fresh and was lovely. The decor was tastfully done. Cuban coffee was good. The restroom could have been more clean. The place had a nice collection of antiques. The farmers market was not open when we visited. Its about 20 mins to FLL airport.
Our family stopped here after an airboat tour. We had Cuban sandwiches and arepas with steak, avocado and cheese that were fantastic! They were served with crispy shoestring potato fries. Will definitely come back here next time we’re in Florida.
Customer services was superb. I did have the steak sandwich and the Cuban coffee. I am sooo mad that I did not buy more empanadas - next time I will have to get a half a dozen. They were so fresh. They also offer many sauce options. I had an awesome experience here. They sell so many things as well. Pies, raw hunny, sour sop and fresh seafood.I will surely re-visit!
Wow! This place is phenomenal and the food was so good, I took a photo after i ate it! 🙌 From the market feel, fresh produce, juices, coffee and food! 10/10 🌟 Nelson and the team was 'Best in Class' for both: Customer Experience and Efficiency! 😌 Coffee was one of the best I had (Horchata Late)! Will definitely be coming back again and again and again! 🙌🌟😌
