Nexus Cinema Dining

Very poorly managed. Kicked (2)19 year old college students out of the movie after buying tickets with no prompting of 21 years of age being a requirement at the time of purchase. Even after calling and leaving messages with no response, sending chat messages with no response and even purchasing a ticket for worse cases scenario and escorting them in and they still were treated poorly. Thinking they were settled, i left and was given a 15 min ultimatum to return or they would be kicked out. We let them know they were under 21 and they put the x on their tickets so they wont get alcohol. Then to add insult to injury, when asked if they can box up their food, the older lady whispers, " make sure they paid" as if we were gonna run off without paying the tab. In total we spent upwards of $140 for this level of bs for a 15-30 min movie and dining experience. Nexus has been my family's go to theater for years... I will never nor will advise anyone else to patronize this joke of an establishment. You cant watch a movie here at 19 without "supervision" is ridiculous! I never post reviews but this is crazy!! We didn't choose to break the rules, your lack of response and your rude and obnoxious approach to doing business is my point of concern. We actually reached out to confirm if an escort in for 19 year old young adults was sufficent. At check in we confirmed their age and giving proper notice so they could be marked uneligible for alcohol of which you validate and note on their tickets which is warranted but the manner in which you handled this is completely out of pocket. I was actually on our way back to have dinner in your bar to make sure they would be good but you wouldnt have known that because you were too busy trying stick it to 2 young adults in college! Do the math you approached them with a 15 min ultimatum for my return or they would be kicked out and I was there within 2 mins. But I definitely appreciate your nasty response. While you're so eager to point out the rules being broken.. be sure to take a strong look at your internal inefficiencies and do a better job not passing judgement until you've done your due diligence. Futher, just so you are aware, accompanied by adult is speculative and and it may behoove you to notate that the adult should be in the movie theater with those under 21 at all times in your "policy". Otherwise, there's room for alternative interpretations. There wouldnt have been any confusion if you did more than collect money and insult patrons. If only your response to my call and chat messages were this swift maybe this could have all been avoided. We are thrilled that you are glad we wont return, at least that one sentiment we share. We really enjoyed our movie experience at Nexus Cinema dining. The theater was small so there were not a lot of people. The service is great. You can order right from your seats, and they bring the food to you in the theater. We had traditional popcorn and cokes, but they also had a full menu. The seats are very comfortable. It was a great date night and we will definitely be going back.

I loved the entire experience! The ladies up front were personable and sweet. The staff quickly fixed a problem with the tablet I had. At the end of the movie, I still had a problem checking out on my tablet, but the staff I waved down could not have been more helpful. I still had to go upfront to check out, but that wasn't her fault. Honestly I love the idea of the tablets to order food and drink but something needs to be done about the current ones. An update or something. Overall, I'm going back when there's a movie I want to see.

I do enjoy coming to this movie theater due to the reserved seating and comfortable recliners. My last visit was this afternoon in auditorium 2 (TRON), idk if it was the seats or carpet that smelled like piss so I wiped mines down with antibacterial wipes. The seats need updating due to tear and the food/drinks are overpriced given the quality of the food. Shrimp taste frozen not fresh and the salad didn’t seem fresh either. I ordered shrimp with side and my daughter had the chicken tenders with a side. Total $50 without a drink. I would come again to watch a movie but will opt out of the food. It’s not worth it. The staff are great and I’ve never had a problem them. They are kind and professional.

The atmosphere is awesome! Staff amazing and I luv their firecracker shrimp and their steak tips! The Bartender is just the BEST ! He will do his best to make u whatever u like . Very professional 👏 👌 👍 the recliners r very comfortable and u can order your food on a tablet and either pay then or wait til the movies over and pay at the desk . Just a very enjoyable date night !
