Boxed & Brewed
400 N Ervay St, Dallas, TX
Crema's Take
“Tucked into a charming old post office building, Boxed & Brewed is a neighborhood gem where the espresso is genuinely excellent and the breakfast tacos—especially the brisket and chorizo varieties—are made with care using quality local ingredients like fresh eggs and hand-pressed tortillas. The staff genuinely seems to love what they do, whether that's staying late to cook breakfast for lingering guests or offering thoughtful drink recommendations, creating the kind of warm, unhurried atmosphere where you actually want to settle in for a while.”

Such a cute little coffee shop. Super accommodating staff who made us breakfast when we were past the time. Breakfast tacos was so good, and coffee was delish ☕️
Tried the matcha. It was alright but I would probably recommend getting a different drink. It was just very milky. I liked that you could adjust the sweetness of your drink with the nearby honey and blue agave though. And the cafe is located in a super neat location as an old USPS and courthouse. The cafe itself was very cute and peaceful and the owners were also really sweet.
I wish I lived in Dallas so that I could become a regular at Boxed & Brewed! This cafe has it all, with fantastic espresso and the best chorizo taco in the state! While waiting for my freshly made massive taco, I wandered into the hallway and marveled at the Roquefort looking marble walls and all of the gorgeous details of the building. Can’t wait til next time!
Little shop in the old post office building. Brisket taco is well done. The eggs are fresh, brisket is shredded and juicy, the tortilla is fluffy and must be from a local factory, and to top it off the salsa is bursting with flavor. I’d come back just for the salsa! Cappuccino was good as well. Relaxed atmosphere with seating for 15.
The workers were so nice and attentive. Antonio gave great recommendations. We loved the coffee. The breakfast tacos were fresh & delicious, and the roasted salsa (comes with it) really topped it off. My favorite pastry is the Kougin Amann (which he recommended as well). It was soft and sweet (but not too sweet). Our food didn’t make it to the pictures since we couldn’t resist eating it all 😅 Will definitely be back!
