Walnut Creek Library Cafe

Why doesn’t every library have a cafe!? Wonderful little cafe where the friendly owner serves customers cheerfully. It has in and outdoor seating and fair prices. It’s right next to Civic Park in Walnut Creek, so you can also take your purchases and picnic in the park.

Never order anything from this cafe. Went here with my handicap brother and the owner asked him to leave. Said he was taking up space for other customers eventhough the place was empty. Extreme rude and disrespectful, also saw flies on the food. Zero stars.

i work across the street and was in a hurry, went in to get some late lunch. I ordered the club sandwich, got a coke and a small container of mac and cheese. $17 for this is a bit excessive. Not to mention the club sandwich had no bacon and the guy that made the sandwich didn't…

Clean and good service however being that it is a coffee place there really needs to be access to the restrooms wven though the library itself may not be open. Some of us have medical disability issues and walking a block further down the street goes against ADA rules!

Wondered in to this Peets from the park with my granddaughter. They were so nice and accommodating to us. Very sweet staff. I had an iced mocha and a bottled lemonade. Lots of great choices of snacks. I will return again because I promised my 2 1/2 year old granddaughter and…
