Crema's Take

If you're visiting the River Walk and want legitimately good biscuits with serious flakiness and flavor, this panaderia-bakery hybrid is worth the wait—just go early or expect to linger an hour for a table. The inconsistency in service is real (some visits you'll get the attentive Halle, others you'll wonder if anyone noticed you exist), but the pastries and breakfast are genuinely excellent, making it worth a return trip to catch it on a good day. Families and groups seem to have the best experience here since the slow pace actually works in your favor if you're not rushing.

What to expect

Classic coffee drinks done right. A slow-sit, outdoor seating spot, good for meetings. Full breakfast and pastries on the menu. Family friendly.

First time here. Found it in a search Not too bad for a Sunday morning as far as the wait. Our server, HALLE was incredibly amazing, super sweet and attentive. She kept us up to date on all the wait times between tickets. We still got our food out in spaced out intervals, but…

We had a 15 minute wait around 10 am on a Saturday so that was not bad at all. The service was great. We had Halle and a trainee they were both very sweet and helpful. Halle was teaching the trainee all the things but the trainee was very slow with simple things so I hope she…
