Crema's Take

Georgie's thrives on natural light and abundant greenery that makes you want to linger for hours, making it one of NYC's rare study cafes where the ambiance justifies the visit even if the food is hit-or-miss. The space gets genuinely crowded by late morning on weekends, so arrive early if you want guaranteed seating, but regulars swear it's worth the effort for the vibe alone. Fair warning: the pastries and light fare are decent but overpriced relative to the portion sizes, so come for the plants and atmosphere rather than expecting Instagram-worthy food.

What to expect

Classic coffee drinks done right. A slow-sit, laptop-friendly spot, good for meetings. Full breakfast, pastries, and light food on the menu. Family friendly. Wifi.

11/10 fav study spot in nyc!! The food is good, and vibes are great. Came on a Saturday around 9:30 am to study - pretty empty and lots of seats, but around 11 am it started getting pretty packed. It also started snowing (so pretty!). Stayed until like 3:30 pm but could def stay…

Came for a study cafe. Has a large table but unfortunately everyone also came to study! We had to wait a little bit for open spot. Otherwise was good. We stayed for a few hours

I kind of want to gatekeep this place, but it’s too good not to share, finding a spot like this in nyc is rare. The cafe is filled with natural light and beautiful plants. It’s the perfect place to get some work done. And the egg tart was really good.

Spam and egg sandwich was very small and simple and not worth the price I think. Yuzu lemonade was solid. It is however a beautiful place to study. The greenery was so calming and it just had perfect conditions of studying including free wifi and amply charging ports.

I came here to catch up with a friend over some coffee, and it was such a cute space! The cafe is attached to a gym and is a spacious environment filled with plenty of natural lighting and plants. Their menu has some influences of Hong Kong, such as their lap cheong sandwich,…
