Here’s the updated 5-star review with your exact order worked in perfectly: The Power Plant Texas Grill – 5 STARS (and I’m already craving my next visit) Just when I thought burgers couldn’t get any better in Texas, The Power Plant in Seguin goes and proves me wrong, in the most delicious way possible. I ordered the Original Power Burger with grilled jalapeños added, and sweet mother of Texas, it was perfection on a brioche bun. Juicy, perfectly seasoned patty, melty American cheese, crisp lettuce, tomato, pickles, that addictive house Power Sauce, and those grilled jalapeños brought just the right smoky kick without overpowering anything. Easily one of the best burgers I’ve ever had, anywhere. The hand-cut fries on the side were hot, crispy, and seasoned like they mean it. Ice-cold beer in frozen mugs (went with a local draft), stunning views of the Guadalupe River from the huge covered patio, string lights, breeze coming off the water… it’s the full Texas experience dialed up to 11. Service was fantastic, super friendly, fast, and on point. Everyone working there clearly loves the place, and you feel it. One tiny note for first-timers: the parking lot layout can be a little confusing when you’re new (a couple extra seconds to figure out where to park, but that’s literally the only thing that isn’t perfect. The Power Plant isn’t just a restaurant; it’s a destination. Amazing food, cold beer, killer vibes, and that Original Power Burger with grilled jalapeños is now my official go-to order. This place deserves every single one of its 5 stars (and probably a few more). I’ll be back, very soon!

Unique! My brother and I sat outside and looked at the Guadalupe River that once powered the plant. Some of the original massive machinery is still inside the restaurant. Food was good! We had the Frog Dip as an appetizer, because, well, Frog Dip?! And we each got a Rueben sandwich (excellent!), him with serious onion rings and me with homemade chips. Service was good too. And a big turtle sunbathed on a log in the water ehile we ste. Definitely an altogether cool experience! Price was worth the delicious lunch. Parking was...interesting, but not difficult. Better signage from road would have been helpful.

Wow! What cool spot to visit for a beverage and bite. We stopped in by chance and it was an absolute WIN! Everything from the decor, patio view to the amazing food and especially the service. Let me start by saying Brittany was our server and she was terrific, she's definitely an asset to the establishment. It's not her first rodeo for sure, she was attentive and intuitive of our needs. Brittany thank you again!! Drinks were immediately brought to the table along with our appetizer We highly recommend the frog dip and chips it was delicious. I decided on the powerhouse burger with grilled jalapeños and onions and a side of onion rings I'm not even kidding when I say it was probably one of the best burgers I've had, top five for sure. The onion rings were perfectly crispy, be sure to get the chipotle ranch for dipping My wife ate the chicken fried chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, another winner of her plate was the poblano cream corn for sure Everything was definitely priced reasonably So if you made it this far into the review you should 100% give them a try, be sure to sit in Britney's section tell her that Jimmy and Maura sent you. She won't have any idea who you're talking about but if enough people do it I'm sure she'll laugh and that's a good thing

Great food with even better ambiance. Had the chicken fried chicken with the optional queso and pico topping, as well as mashed potatoes and poblano cream corn which were all excellent. The chicken was cooked perfectly and was still juicy with a nice amount of crispiness which was complemented nicely by the queso. The cream corn was also a nice addition with a little twist on a typical classic. Weather and views were excellent for sitting outside and enjoying the riverfront in a cool historic setting.

Unique one of a kind setting that differentiates this dining experience. Relaxed setting - indoor & outdoor seating. Our outdoor seating overlooked the Guadalupe. The people were great & friendly. Food was served quickly. Drinks were A+ Highly recommended!
