Salomay: Coffee & Crepes

Being from Europe I appreciate a place with a bit of Parisian flair and Salomay has that. We found it by accident while in the area and went for a snack. Both, food and drinks, were delicious, we especially appreciated the fresh berries with the Crêpe and that it was not overly sweet (which can be hard to get right with a Nutella filling). The owner was very friendly and helpful with suggestions, even offering to split the Crèpe for us (they are large!). I‘d recommend Salomay and will go back next time I am in area to try one of the savory options.

My husband and I go to Salomay for special events like our anniversary and for cute brunch dates on the weekend. We absolutely love the owner, and we could not recommend this place more. He is nice, informative, and really cares about his cafe. The McKinney Brunch Special is our favorite savory crepe (ham, avocado, secret delicious sauce etc.), and then The Paris (Nutella and strawberry) is our favorite sweet crepe! Best drinks here: Sweet cream latte iced Tiramisu latte hot or iced Matcha with strawberry iced You will thank us if you order these! Yumm! 😋

The ambiance was super nice and the workers were super nice and pleasant. The food was really good, my fiancee ordered the cream cheese bagel with egg! He loved it so much he ordered it a couple of times. 😂 The drinks are okay, flavor is good but I like tasting my coffee in my latte, so I like strong coffees but overall still very good. I had the samoa iced latte :)

I had such a great experience here. The atmosphere was calm and inviting—perfect for hanging out and enjoying time with friends. The chicken pesto was incredible, easily a must‑try. I grabbed a mocha java chip frappé too, and it was giving all the mocha. I also tried the blue raspberry lemonade, which tastes just like a blue Jolly Rancher. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the whole place was clean and well-kept. Definitely recommending this spot.

Solomay is such a charming spot with a beautiful ambiance and unique Parisienne-inspired décor that makes you feel like you’ve stepped right into a cozy café in France. The food is absolutely delicious, with both sweet and savory crepe options that are perfectly made and full of flavor. The drinks, whether hot or cold, are just as wonderful. It’s the perfect place to bring your loved ones, relax and enjoy a lovely meal together. Plus, the service is warm and attentive, making the whole experience even better. They also have a drive-thru!
