Top Notch We wouldn't settle for anything less than cassata cake for our wedding reception. EVERYONE absolutely loved it.
I have never had a bad experience with employees and they have a wide selection of baked goods. We saw a video advertising their apple fritters so we swung by one day at 10:00am and luckily we bought two. They make the best apple fritters we have ever tasted. Between the chunks of apple and taste alone we have made numerous trips over 45 minutes to buy more. Unfortunately each time we walk in they are out of apple fritters and they only make one batch a day on a first come first served basis. Even if you call they will not allow you to place orders on them. The man who explained that to me on the phone was very polite about it and gave me advice to show up early. I understand they are a business and have procedures that they set and have no obligation to disclose those to outsiders/customers. But, because we were disappointed in not getting apple fritters we bought a ranging variety of cookies, brownies, cannolis, cinnamon twists and other treats on three separate occasions. Every single item we tried was stale and old tasting. The cinnamon twists were so hard you could knock on them with your fists and make loud noises. If a treat you make is a big selling point for your establishment, why is it only available the first 30 minutes you’re open for business? Long story short, they make the best apple fritters in Northeast Ohio but they are so hard to come by even when you try to go out of your way to get them. I would buy a whole batch at once at an even higher $ amount if necessary. If this ever changes we would love to come back.
Ordered a cassata cake with chocolate cake. It was good however the strawberries and custard was not sufficient; this could have been due to the density of the chocolate cake. Definitely could have used more of the custard.
I ordered a full sheet of cassata cake for my baby shower and this place made the best cassata cake I have ever had. The staff was super nice and amazing! The pricing was reasonable and I was able to get it within a week of ordering. Highly recommend for the experience and the cake itself!!!!
I had moved in the area of this bakery 10 years ago and on my third day I needed to go to the library and Google directed me to the one across the street from this bakery; I visited it after the library I got two of my favorite donuts and they were delicious, I asked what time did they open because I wanted more apple fritters because I was only able to get the last one that they had. I went back the next morning and was able to get a half dozen, the happiest day ever. I don't like chocolate at all and my favorite cake is the Cassata, let me tell you it was sooo delicious the right amount of strawberries, whipped topping, the moistest cake and for me just the right amount of custard,,,, excellent 👌👌
