The staff—especially Luke—create a genuinely welcoming atmosphere that pairs perfectly with their espresso-focused drinks and rotating pastry selection, making it an ideal spot whether you're settling in for hours of work or a quick, meaningful coffee break. The coffee was amazing, currently in my top 5 in Philly! when you walk toward the place you can smell the coffee which is intoxicating! I really liked the atmosphere it’s really cozy, the blueberry muffin was also delicious.
My guilty pleasure is cuddling up to a good coffee at a coffee shop — reading, people-watching, studying, whatever the day calls for. That means the bar is set: great coffee, great atmosphere. Twisted Grounds clears it. The coffee is serious without being precious, and the space somehow nails that cozy-yet-airy quality that defines the Fairmount neighborhood. Exceptional drinks, good people, and a space worth lingering in, Twisted Grounds is among my favorite shops in the city.
My coffee journey led me to a charming little coffee shop not too far from the art museum area, tucked away on a cozy side street. This place is the tiniest coffee shop I’ve ever been to, it felt like stepping into my sister-in-law's kitchen - so cozy and welcoming! While they may run out of pastries quickly, they offer a variety of regular and vegan items to choose from, as well as some prepackaged treats for sale. In the video, you'll see a couple of vegan options on display. The coffee they serve is from a company called Moonraker Coffee Roasters, based in Cameron Park, California. They take pride in their coffee cultivation and are dedicated to sustainability, which truly shines through in the high quality of their coffee. This coffee had a velvety body, with no acidity and a hint of chocolatey flavor - a delight for the taste buds. I loved the cozy, small shop atmosphere and the friendly, knowledgeable staff who served us. And to top it all off, the price for a cup of coffee was very reasonable. I have to stop back here and grab a pastry or two. they sell out daily.
Twisty G’s is my go to local coffee & pastry place. Luke is the man and everyone who works there is very friendly. They are equally gifted in making phenomenally tasting & aesthetically pleasing lattes. This pumpkin spice latte is brought to you by Maya!
I was really taken by their fantastic pastry selection and the lovely, welcoming vibe they have. The staff were so friendly and paid great attention, which definitely made the visit even more enjoyable. The bakery felt warm and bright, making it the perfect little spot to grab a pastry and coffee to kickstart your day.
