Crema's Take

This church-connected café in Portland feels less like a coffee shop and more like a welcoming living room, with thoughtfully designed seating nooks that invite you to linger whether you're meeting a friend, settling in with work, or bringing the kids to their Tuesday-Thursday play sessions. The full breakfast menu and pastries pair beautifully with their traditional coffee drinks, and there's a genuine warmth in the service that matches the homey aesthetic—plus knowing your purchase supports local food pantries adds heart to every visit. It's the kind of place where regulars feel at home and first-timers immediately understand why the community has embraced it so completely.

Such a unique, warm and inviting space with lots of different seating options, quite unlike any other cafe in the city. A great place to meet with a friend, do some work, reading, or studying. I love coming here, and the fact that so many great orgs share the building, among them a food pantry, makes the energy here pretty rad. Staff are really friendly and drinks & treats lovely. I'm proud to say that I did prune the four Japanese maples out front, but I've been a fan of this place long before that happened. 😁✨🍁☕

Cute local coffee shop connected to a church. Funds go to help local food pantries. Lots of tables and open space. Food and coffee are great. Service is always top notch.

As a nanny I absolutely love bringing my young kiddos to Neighbour’s Table! Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8-12 they host “Recess” in the coolest separate indoor play area to encourage parent and caretaker meet-ups with children under 5. My kids love it, I love it, the drinks and snacks are great, and the staff is incredibly welcoming. After stumbling upon this spot on a neighborhood walk I have come back like 2-3 times a week—it’s that good. Their mission is powerful, and I deeply admire what they do for this community and others. First ever review but I just had to commend this awesome spot!!!

I made a stop at this coffee shop as it is surprisingly one of a few in the area and I was surprised to see how beautiful the inside decor was! It has a very cozy vibe, with lots of different seating options and multiple windows. It is honestly the biggest area I've seen for a coffee shop, in large part to it being a shared space with other companies in the building. It makes it a perfect spot to come to to do some work. We tried a normal latte and matcha latte and the barista did an amazing job with the drinks! They looked fantastic and tasted even better, the coffee used was honestly some of the best I've tried. The outside seating is perfect and it was so cozy sitting outside with our warm drinks on a mild, grey day. I hope to see more people who live in the area go here in the future, it was absolutely amazing! Highly recommend a stop, especially with the mission and values that this coffee shop has which I recommend reading about on their website.
