Crema's Take
“Blue Hour Cafe is a cozy popup space in Shorewood where the owners genuinely care about both their craft and their customers, creating an unexpectedly welcoming community hub. Their creative specialty drinks like the ube matcha and banana foster latte show real imagination, and their matcha offerings—including inventive combinations like black sesame matcha—are earning serious praise from matcha enthusiasts. Even as they're still building out their full vision, the warm hospitality and quality drinks have already made this a spot people are eager to return to.”

I love Ube and this drink is incredible and they were super friendly and service was great. Can’t wait come back for the full opening!
Stopped in today to Blue Hour Cafe and had the best experience. We got the banana fosters latte and an ube latte. The owners were helpful and we were excited to hear more about the vision for the space. Cannot wait to go back- we always love to see new things like this pop up in milwaukee.
Lovely little space with great drinks! The sense of community provided by the workers was incredible. I got the black sesame matcha and it was divine. Looking forward to going back again!
went here today with some friends and got their ube matcha!! probably one of the best matchas i've ever had 🙂↕️🙂↕️ i think it could be ever so slightly more sweet, but otherwise everything was amazing. amazing location, perfect for students attending uwm, walking distance from kenilworth square east. owners are passionate, can't wait to see where this goes! edit: today i went back and got the ube latte... soooo good! and turns into this lovely lilac color when mixed 💜
I stopped by for the first time today with high hopes and I was not disappointed. The space is not fully completed, as they are still in the popup faze, but they do have two larger benches for seating. From the sound of it the interior is going to be a really special space. I ordered the black sesame matcha and loved it. It tasted exactly how it was described to me, with the ending notes tasting like that of peanut butter and the drink being on the savory side. I also tried the café con leche. You could taste the boldness of the espresso while the sweetened condensed milk added a slight sweetness and richness to the drink without being overpowering. You can tell Blue Hour Coffee was started with care and passion, this place is definitely worth the visit.
