Pleasantly surprised. Stopped in here while waiting for my golden dinner order The molasses lime aid. Sweet but also SOURR. Prepare for that, but enjoyable to me. The choco chip cookie - I was lucky to get one that had just hit the cooling rack and was still warm. Nice crispy edges with a soft center. Good salt. It was thin but still had a cakey taste. A little sprinkle of salt on the top. The scone - was good. I think it could do with a salt sprinkle on top. Think I’ll go home and warm it up Thai tea chiffon - yum! Idk what I was expecting but it was light and fluffy. The perfect amount of sweet. A treat that won’t leave you feeling like your gorged yourself.

One of my go-to cafe on the LES 🫶🏻 This small vietnamese cafe serves the one and only honey comb cake, a chewy, pandan infused cake. Everything here can be made with pandan, from cake, latte, and matcha latte. They also have wifi and restroom. But the space may be too small to sit here for too long. It is packed on the weekend.

We ordered the salted cream coffee and really enjoyed it. I’d give it an 8/10. It was very good and flavorful, with a smooth, creamy foam that paired well with the coffee. The coffee itself had a pleasant acidic note that kept it from tasting too heavy. We also tried the pandan cake, which was nice and soft with a spongy texture, similar to boba. I would recommend it if you enjoy jelly-like desserts.

Got the 6 inch thai tea chiffon cake and the pandan coffee cake for friendsgiving. The thai tea cake was layered beautifully and it was not too sweet which I really loved. I felt like the Thai tea flavor could’ve been a little bit more pronounced, but other than that, my friends, and I had no complaints and ate the whole cake in one sitting. I would say the 6 inch was the perfect size for 3-4 people. I guess other than the Thai tea flavor being a little bit too subtle, I do think the pricing does not match the size or quantity that you get. It’s about $80 for the 6 inch, I personally wouldn’t get it again, but maybe if it was $50 i could justify it. The pandan coffee cake was spectacular. Absolutely nothing bad to say about it, I wouldn’t have changed a thing. It had the perfect amount of pan and flavor with the perfect coffee cake texture. The pre-order comes with four slices and I honestly could’ve ate all four by myself. I will definitely be ordering these again. $20 for 4 pieces is also a bit pricey, but I found it to be worth it. I’ve gotten it multiple times since. Customer service is also wonderful. They get very crowded but all the employees are super kind and considerate and honestly very fast.

We came by for some coffee and dessert and stayed for a relaxing no frills vibes. There were tables both inside and outside though spots are limited. We tried the pandan latte, pandan macaroon, pandan banh bo nuong, and salt coffee. My friend enjoyed the pandan latte and I think the salt coffee needs a bit more work (too salty, and the salt cream layer needs to be richer, it was dissipating too fast). The dessert was a bit too sweet for me iykyk but maybe i’ll come back for chocolate chip cookie next time?
