Crema's Take

Me Oh My Coffee And Pie is a casual Loveland spot that shines brightest for its homemade pastries and pies, particularly their chocolate espresso pie and cinnamon rolls that keep regulars coming back. The vibe is genuinely family-friendly with a slow-coffee atmosphere perfect for lingering, though consistency can be spotty—their biscuits and gravy are reliably delicious, but service and operational details sometimes miss the mark. Fair warning: if you have dietary restrictions like gluten-free needs, you'll want to ask detailed questions, as their tracking systems aren't always reliable.

Beware if you’re GF! They served me a sandwich that was way too good to be GF so I asked and it wasn’t. I was given some kind of answer like their system doesn’t allow them to track it back to whoever makes the food so it relies on good communication. They weren’t even busy, just one other party already eating. They did offer to make a new one, but at that point I was already done with half the sandwich. I got the Pesto Turkey and it was good but the pesto mayo tasted like fish. Possibly anchovie paste like Cesar dressing? Not sure. But unfortunately that was my first and last time there.

Service has never been outstanding, but always at least pleasant. Pies and other baked goods are solid, and biscuits and gravy are delish. But last couple of visits have been disappointing, with less than friendly staff and extremely slow service. However, today marks the last time we plan on spending money here. Ordered our usual biscuits and gravy to go, and ordered an extra biscuit because the generous amount of gravy is always enough for a couple of meals. When we realized that the staff member had poured the gravy over all the biscuits instead of it being packaged separately as they’ve always done it, and since we weren’t going to be eating it all right away, we went back to ask if we could have them packaged separately. The girl told us “That’s the way we’ve always done it and if you wanted it that way you should’ve asked”. Then she told us they were out of biscuits. With only two other customers in the entire time we were there, and having been open for about 30 minutes at that point, they’d apparently only made two biscuits… We left the pile of cold and gummy mush on the counter. We’ll spend our money in better managed local establishments from now on.

Came in at 7 AM as I always do 3 days a week. Noticed it was 55 degrees in the seating area. When I asked if the employees if they might turn up the heat I was told the owner doesn't allow them to have the thermostat code. So my self and my 4 friends had to leave our coats on to stay warm while we ate . Delegation and trusting your employees is the mark of a knowledgeable manager. The employees were embarrassed they couldn't fix the situation even though they wanted to.

Kind of disappointing to have what could and should be a great bakery and coffee place constantly underwhelm and under deliver. Some of the pies are quite good, I really liked the chocolate espresso, while other pies and pastries can be bland and even stale. More than once I’ve had a sticky bun or pecan roll be stale and that’s in my opinion totally unacceptable to pay full price for day old or older pastries. Also their coffee could use some work. I’ve several times had luke warm drip coffee and their americano isn’t anything to come back for either. I think some more focus and effort on the customer experience would go a long way here.

From everything I have had from here, I have absolutely no complaints. The coffee is always good, whether it be hot or cold. The sweets are always phenomenal, huge fan of their cinnamon rolls and pecan pie. The bread though, its absolutely fantastic. I could eat the bread alone and be happy. Service is always nice and the environment is warm and welcoming.
