This was an amazing experience at the new location. The cats were being very playful and friendly. The drinks were phenomenal. We love the openness of the new location.cant wait to come back.
I love this place! It is evident from the moment you walk in that the owners truly care about the cats, and the cats are very happy there. It’s incredibly clean, well stocked with toys and cat sleeping spots, and very cozy. I just adopted a cat from them as well, and everyone involved made it super easy for both me and the kitty! Great for students who might be missing their pets at home, people who might not be able to adopt their own cat, or anyone who just wants to hang out with some felines!
My boyfriend and I have come here multiple times and are really pleased by how friendly and socialized the cats are. It is so fun to interact with them all and the owners are so kind! Best of all, we have adopted a cat from them and the process was really responsible and respectable but easy. We love our kitty already and are so grateful to the Pawsitive Cat Cafe for our experience ❤️🐾
It was pretty cute. Not really what I expected but I'm glad it exists. I pictured like a Cafe where you sit at tables and the cats are coming to you, jumping up on the tables, you're enjoying a drink and a pastry, but that's not quite the vibe. You can order a drink, and they're pretty basic and good, but it's not really a Cafe. But the cats are cute. Don't be surprised if you see some fighting. Also don't be surprised if you get bit or scratched. They're animals, they can be unpredictable at times, but it was mostly chill.
A great spot in downtown Rochester! My partner and I visited weekly (he was a volunteer) while we were living nearby, and since moving away we try to visit whenever we’re in the area. We loved meeting all the new cats and kittens passing through as the cafe continued to adopt them out. There are a few resident cats, but all the others are adoptable either through them or area rescues. We actually adopted our two cats from here! Their cat lounge is bigger than most other cat cafes I’ve been to, so you have space to spread out from other guests. It’s recommended that you make reservations because they can get busy. They’re flexible and want to make sure you get your full time, so even if you’re a few minutes late you’ll still get the 30/60 minutes you paid for. Admission is a very fair price and the money goes towards the care of the cats. The owners are really nice and genuinely care about all of the cats, so there’s a set of rules to follow while you’re visiting to keep everyone safe. They also have drinks and treats, merch, and other items from local businesses (keychains, art, soap, etc) to purchase. They also run events like movie nights and cat yoga, which can all be found on their website or Instagram. With everything they offer, there’s really something for every cat lover here!
