Summer Moon Coffee

Thought I'd try a new coffee shop to get out of the house to focus on a work project. I have driven by Summer Moon quite often, so, since it's only a few minutes drive from downtown GVL (where I typically walk for these types of outings) I decided to try this coffee shop. "When in Rome" attitude made me try their specialty cream they call moon milk. I must say, Wow! This is a whole new coffee to enjoy. And it can be mixed with skim milk or non-dairy options. Definitely worth driving (5 minutes only) to get a drink here. Ambience is perfect for quiet conversation, reading a book or focusing on work. And comfortable to sit for hours thanks to the cushy bottomed bar stools. Power strips are along the coffee bar AND offers a view outside to grab some sunshine. Yep, I can sit outside when weather permits. Love the flavor. Love the options (including gluten free!), love the easy parking. Oh, did I mention the very friendly and patient staff and quick turn-around time? I highly recommend trying this coffee shop if you are in the area...or not.

Such a cute, atmospheric little coffee shop! Inside is gorgeous with a faux fireplace, comfy leather chairs, and beautiful dark green paneling. It’s an aesthetic shot waiting to happen. It’s also large enough that even on a busy day you can find seating and it’s never too loud. Just a nice ambient mumble. The service is quick and they care about getting your order right and good and not just getting you out the door again. The moon milk is like their version of a sweet cream and it is sweet! But it is also VERY good. I’ve had both hot and iced drinks and both were delicious. I’ve only tried a savory pastry but I’d totally go back for more! Parking is easy and even on busy days you can find a spot. This is a great place to chat with friends, read a book, or get some work done. I’d love to come back!

The atmosphere of Summer Moon Coffee had a good balance of social chatter and work areas. The parking situation is really accessible as well. I ordered the Iced Moon Mocha Latte and it keep out pretty fast. The drink was nice and sweet just the way I like it. The good thing is that you can also adjust the sweetness level by asking them to use more or less moon milk. Definitely would recommend trying this place at least once!

I first visited Summer Moon for a networking coffee and I’ve really enjoyed coming here since then. The Americano is my go to. It’s always delicious and smooth. The atmosphere is fantastic and laid back. Plus the staff is friendly and fun. I’m not JUST saying that because both of my daughters have worked here. But it doesn’t hurt.

A great place to start your morning with delicious coffee and a good mood. Cheerful positive staff, cozy atmosphere, comfortable chairs and armchairs, good music on the speakers. The coffee tastes just perfect. 👍🏻 It's a little inconvenient that the food is served without plates, even disposable ones, but for such delicious coffee, you can forgive it
