Pilar Coffee Bar & Iced Treats

As an admitted coffee snob, I’m always searching for a place that truly gets coffee right — and Pilar absolutely delivers. I drink my coffee black, and unlike many chains (hello, over-roasted and bitter), Pilar’s coffee was smooth, balanced, and genuinely enjoyable on its own — no cream or sugar needed. I stopped in for breakfast and tried their avocado toast with a square egg — a fun, modern twist on a classic — and it was delicious. The quality and presentation really stood out. What I love most is that Pilar has something for everyone. Whether you're a purist like me who wants a simple, well-crafted cup of coffee, or you're into the trend-forward drinks the younger crowd loves (some with names I can barely pronounce!), they’ve nailed the balance. I even came back later for dinner, had a great salad, and spent hours working in a beautiful, comfortable environment. Highly recommend if you're looking for great coffee, great food, and a space you’ll actually want to stay in.

I’ve had this place saved for a while to go, I finally made it today and I was impressed. From the decor to the gelato and the amazing Colombian coffee. The most impressive part was the service I received from Alana, the barista working today around noon. She was friendly, genuine and knowledgeable. It wasn’t forced friendliness or forced service, you can tell it was from her heart as she was very passionate. She recommended the house brewed coffee, explained where it was from, gave me a taste of the gelato (which was amazing! I’ll be back for it) This is the most important part of an establishment, making the guest feel welcomed, secured and valued. I’ll be back for coffee and to study!

I debated whether to do a review on this place or not cause I don't do these to be negative. But then thought just be real all the time. So the place is dope as far as decor and the service was outstanding. But the food, coffee, and matcha latte were meh, just average nothing that sticks out or would make me come back again. Btw it's in a plaza that has a bunch of decent breakfast spots so the competition is fierce. And it was next to a bar that was open at 8:30 am with patrons which gave me old Florida vibes that I love. Felt nostalgic

First time visiting this coffee spot and it was an amazing experience from the moment we walked in. We were greeted with exceptional service...someone seriously give Lailah a raise! She was incredibly attentive, warm, and genuinely enthusiastic, taking the time to walk us through all the food and treat options. The space itself is cozy yet modern, with such a relaxing vibe, and the food was absolutely delicious. Everything about this place made us feel welcome and comfortable. We will definitely be back! Thank you, Lailah, for taking such great care of us.

The staff were all so friendly on a busy Saturday afternoon. The coffee was perfect, not too sweet, which is rare. Other coffee spots load up the sugar to cover the flavor. But their iced honey cinnamon latte was delicious. It was clean and well decorated. Excited for their other locations opening up. I will definitely be back!
