Canabru Coffee

This place clearly seems to be a favorite for studying and working, and it’s easy to see why. The space is very spacious and comfortable, with plenty of room to settle in without feeling crowded. The staff is extremely friendly and welcoming, which makes the overall experience even better. They also have a tempting selection of chocolates and pastries that look absolutely mouthwatering. I ordered a latte and it was excellent, smooth, well made, and very satisfying. Overall, it’s a great spot to spend a few hours, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy and productive place to work or study.

This coffee shop is very spacious and welcoming, and I loved all the plants throughout the space. A big plus is that they make their syrups in house, which you can definitely taste. I ordered the cinnamon honey latte and it was really good. Customer service was okay overall, but the drink pick up process could use some improvement. There were a few people waiting, and I noticed our drinks sitting on the counter for a bit. Eventually, an employee just called out “lattes” without specifying the type or a name, which made things a little confusing. I think calling out customer names or the specific drinks would make the process smoother. Aside from that, it’s a very nice coffee shop and a great place to hang out.

To get a basic cup of coffee in a large was almost $5.00, 11 cents away. Just to be clear. Many convenience store coffees are really good and can get it for $2.25 out the door. Yes they do have couches and an atmosphere, I just happened to be close by wanted a quick cup of basic coffee with hazelnut creamer and 8 minutes later or more I’m still here. If you can’t do basic, the complex avoids you.

Absolutely love this hole in the wall coffee spot. This place is a cabin in the woods under a starry night sky, so it is very relaxing to be in here. All coffee, sweet treats and food are delicious to me so far. My plan is to try something new with every visit I make till I find my go-to beverages and food, mostly coffee. 😅 Just keep in mind this is a small place, so it does get a little crowded. Please be courteous and respectful to both staff and other customers within Canabru cause we're all coming here for the same reasons. Happy New Year! 🦉♥️☕️

Bottom Line Up Front: Canabru is a café offering both standard java, twists on familiar drinks, and unique lattes of their own creation. Plus, they offer food and plenty of space to hangout. The Drink: I got the Basic Spaniard, which is coffee with caramel, condensed milk, and cocoa. I wanted a latte that was robust and sweet but not too sweet. This drink delivered. The Price: Like most coffee shops these days, Canabru is charging slightly higher prices for lattes and specialty drinks than your average cafes. Not ideal for people counting their pennies, but I suppose it’s to be expected in this post-pandemic economy. The Service: My server was fast, polite, and knowledgeable. In fact, he recommended the Basic Spaniard, an excellent suggestion based on a handful of questions. The Setting: This café is located in a strip mall in the same parking lot as a Home Depot, but it’s tucked behind the other locations; you can’t see it from the lot. But once you walk in, you’ll find a cool little hangout spot with a casual vibe and plenty of seats to study or hang out. The Conclusion: I didn’t get a chance to try their food or hang out. But I was pleased with my drink enough that I will return, given the chance, and try other offerings.
