Amaretti Coffee
1800 Broadway St, San Antonio, TX
Crema's Take
“This cozy San Antonio spot has earned a devoted following for its exceptionally authentic masala chai, made fresh to order and recognized as the best in the area—a delightful surprise given the coffee-forward name. Beyond the chai, Amaretti strikes that perfect balance between a serious specialty coffee destination and a genuinely welcoming workspace, with attentive staff like Nariv and Tiara who make you feel unhurried, large windows flooding the place with natural light, and a serene atmosphere that keeps people returning to study, work, or simply linger with a book.”

So a family member recommended this place for their authentic masala chai, I was of course very skeptical, especially when you look at the name of the place. But after having tasted it, and as a person who makes his own chai every single day (and I actually make my own masala as well), this chai is solid 👌👌
It's a great place to work remotely, study, or just get out to have a dirty chai and read. Music is soft and TV was set on something nice like animal planet. Lightning was good with large windows for a view. Overall a good place to sit and be. They have books and games provided if you find yourself without something to occupy or to get away from your phone/computer.
I LOVE the masala chai. It’s authentic and the best I’ve found in the area. Takes a few minutes for them to make so it’s coming hot and made to order. It’s a great place to study and there are outdoor tables. They also have mugs if you choose to stay there.
Nariv and Tiara are amazing, was greeted upon entry, was explained the menu and any questions were answered. Did not feel rushed. The place was very clean and they had many amenities like charger ports on tables, complimentary water and dog treats. Good pricing for amazing coffee and sweet treats.
THE most delicious authentic Masala Chai I have ever had! Atmosphere is lovely, quiet, relax and pleasant. I happened to drive by and saw it, so on my way back I stopped in. So happy I did. They have a ton of beverage choices and also gluten free snacks.
