Scramble, a breakfast & lunch joint
9832 N 7th St, Phoenix, AZ
Crema's Take
“Scramble hits that sweet spot for a bustling Phoenix breakfast spot where the coffee surprisingly punches above its weight and the portions are genuinely generous—think loaded omelets and a signature Phoenix Scramble with chorizo that keeps people coming back. The vibe skews family-friendly and social, though service can be a bit assembly-line depending on who's behind the counter, but the traditional coffee and stellar biscuits and gravy make it worth the occasional wait.”

Female Manager with not much customer service when taking my order. I felt like Cattle being moved along. She cut me off as she wanted to take my order her way. Made me forget what I was ordering amd then had excuses why she cut me off and looking at me like she hates me and I'm holding the line up... Bad customer service. People are tired and coming in to wake up and that's the service!?! The manager taking my order never asked if I wanted to dine in or take out as she was done with me and moving me along like cattle. I went back up to tell her and she didnt even look at me as if I was bothering her. Good food, and terrible customer service from an argumentative manager. She wears a black shirt. Everyone else is very nice and busy in orange shirts.
Food and coffee were delicious. Large portions. If you like chorizo come try the Phoenix Scramble, so good.
I wasn’t blown away by my first visit to Scramble, but I’m giving it three stars because I plan to try it again. The pancakes and cinnamon roll were just okay, but the coffee was surprisingly good and the patio had nice mountain views. It’s a casual spot where you order at the counter, and next time I’ll go for their egg dishes or vegan options and bring my dog along.
Their food was amazing! The biscuits and gravy were amazing! I highly recommend. The staff were very friendly and polite. The young gentleman at the register was very friendly and helpful.
Delicious food, lots of options; eggs at any time. We ordered the meat lovers omelette subbed the hash brown and toast for bacon and sausage, blueberry french toast, and mushroom and bacon scramble. Each order was plenty for 1 person, so left overs from the 2 of us. It’s an order and pay (including tip) at the counter, then seat and serve yourself drinks, condiments, and to go container type of joint. Not a fan of the tipping culture (-1⭐️), otherwise an excellent choice.
