Daffodil Romantasy Books and Gifts
474 Willamette St, Eugene, OR
Crema's Take
“Tucked into Eugene's charming downtown, this romantasy bookstore café enchants visitors with imaginative, book-themed specialty drinks that match the whimsical energy of their thoughtfully curated fantasy and romance sections. The space itself is a destination—gorgeously decorated with an inviting layout that makes you want to linger for hours, plus it's conveniently connected to a donut shop and shave ice stand for the ultimate indulgent visit. The genuinely warm staff and community-focused events (like their beloved Murder Mystery nights) create the kind of place where you're not just grabbing coffee, but stepping into a cozy literary escape.”

Supper cute bookstore with a coffee shop attached that surveys book themed drinks! Staff is super nice. They also have their bookshelves sorted so you can go straight to the type of book you are looking for without weeding through all the other books first if you wanted too.
This place is such a gem. My friend took me here for some coffees and book browsing and I was just totally charmed. What’s more, it’s connected to a donut shop and a shave ice place. You can bet I’ll be back in the summer when the shave ice place is open to gorge on some of my favorite things: books, caffeine, donuts, and shave ice. ;)
this place is amazing! the drinks are so fun, the space is decorated amazingly, the book selection is great, and the staff are wonderful!
Adorable little romantasy bookstore and cafe! Love the vibe and everyone was nice that worked there. Definitely can't leave without getting something!
I went to the Vampire Ball Murder Mystery event that Daffodil Books held on October 12 2025. It was so much fun! The store, which always looks amazing, was the perfect setting. All the little tables had been pushed together to create a “single” long table that had been decorated to perfection! The light snacks provided were plentiful, delicious, and on theme for the event, I especially loved the blood bags full of juice as our free drink. Also, If that wasn’t enough, the doughnut shop and cafe were also open for other food and drinks to be purchased. As for the event itself, it was fun and well run. I was given my character about nine days in advance and a part of that was an optional guide on how to dress. Most of the guests dressed up and interacting with other peoples characters was a lot of fun because of it! Speaking of characters, most of the people attempted some acting which was hilarious and made everything feel even more immersive! However acting wasn’t required and those who chose not to act did not detract from the story at all, so if you don’t feel confident about that don’t worry! Honestly the only criticism I have about the event would be that is hard to remember most of what the characters are saying so I would’ve loved a heads up to bring a small notebook and something to write with. All in all I can’t recommend this enough and hope that more events like this will be held in the future!
