Crema's Take

Tucked away in Midtown East, this intimate teahouse is a hidden gem where owner Saerom curates an thoughtfully selected tea menu and pairs it with handmade ceramics from the in-house pottery studio, creating a genuinely special experience that goes beyond just a beverage. The cozy, beautifully minimalist space invites you to linger with their signature sweet corn hojicha, extensive tea selection that comes with cookies and refills, and an atmosphere so warm and welcoming that first-time visitors instantly understand why it's become a favorite spot for those who discover it.

Once you've found it, this is a quaint and beautiful teahouse. There is clean and simple decor. You can choose from an extensive list of teas, and your order includes a few cookies and multiple refills. I'm deducting a point for the insane prices - over $20 some teas.

I stopped by only for the tearoom, and it instantly became one of my favorite spots. The concept is wonderful — a blend of tea culture and ceramics, beautifully executed. Yes, the space is small and a bit lively, but the service is impeccable and the tea itself is exceptional — fragrant, balanced, and made with care. A thoughtful and inspiring little place that truly stands out.

Came for a matcha to go, stayed for the tea service. Super cozy and cute spot. The teas are all carefully and thoughtfully curated by the owner, Saerom, who is super welcoming and friendly. You also get unlimited hot water to rebrew and sip your tea. Will definitely come back!

A lovely little space sort of tucked away in midtown east. So happy I stumbled upon this hidden gem. Every porcelain is handmade in its pottery studio. An excellent black sesame latte. The service was nice and friendly as well. I’ll definitely go back.
