Tea Pulse

Crema's Take
“Tea Pulse is a beautifully designed Midtown spot that's become an instant neighborhood favorite, thanks to their showstopping pastries—especially their flower-shaped pastel de natas and creamy lemon cloud egg tarts that pair perfectly with their thoughtfully crafted teas. The spacious, aesthetic space strikes that rare balance of being both productive (great for working) and convivial (ideal for meeting friends), all while staff genuinely make you feel welcomed. Whether you're ordering their signature Thai tea or exploring their creative flower teas, the combination of exceptional pastries, genuine hospitality, and calm vibes makes this feel less like a quick caffeine stop and more like discovering your new favorite neighborhood gathering place.”

Finally Teapulse opened in Midtown! They’re especially famous for their flower-shaped pastel de natas. They also have a lemon cloud egg tart, which pairs so well with their lemon tea. This new Midtown location is just a few minutes’ walk from Herald Square. There’s plenty of seating, so you can actually sit back and enjoy your drinks and pastries without freezing outside. *Jasmine Lemon Fruit Tea Blast 茉香檸檬果茶 $6.55 (L) * *Ceylon Lemon Fruit Tea Blast 琥珀檸檬果茶 $6.55 (L) * MUST try their tea-infused lemonade! So aromatic and light, and I can already imagine how refreshing it’ll be in the summer. Honestly I don’t have a favorite between the two: one with a green tea base and one with a black tea base. Both are amazing!! *Mango Dew Smoothie Fruit Tea 楊枝甘露 $7.55 (M) * I was pleasantly surprised by this one. It tastes exactly like the HK style mango pomelo sago dessert. It’s different from what you’ll find at other chains, and that’s what really won me over. *Jasmine Light Milk Tea with Snow Top 茉香輕乳茶 $8.55 (L) Got their recommended jasmine milk tea made with light milk. Very fragrant and smooth 🍵 *Egg Tart 蛋撻 $7/2 pcs ** *Lemon Cloud Tart 檸檬雲朵蛋撻 $7.98/2 pcs The puff pastry shell was ultra-flaky, crunchy, and buttery, with a generous layer of egg custard. One was already pretty filling. The lemon one even had lemon curd in the center. For my lactose intolerant friends, you can finally enjoy cheese cloud matcha WITHOUT needing Lactaid at Teapulse! This is the first dairy-free cheese cloud drink I’ve seen in the market, and oat milk is always my preferred milk for matcha. If you’ve been missing out on cheese cloud drinks because of dairy, this one’s definitely worth trying. *Cheese Cloud Matcha Oat 抹茶燕麥芝士茶 $8.95 It comes in regular whole milk or oat milk versions. The matcha could’ve been richer as I personally preferred very bitter and strong matcha. Caramel cookie crumbles were similar to cereal for an extra crunch. Just a note that the cheese cloud is usually thicker than what I had here! *Pink Guava Milk 粉芭樂鮮奶 $7.55 A super refreshing, guava-forward drink. The guava popping boba was unlike any I’ve had before—it actually tasted like real guava rather than artificial flavoring. *** I ordered 30% sugar and less ice for the drinks!
Visited first day of their grand opening and they were managing their orders very efficiently despite the constant flow of customers! Needless to say, service was great. Staff is nice and helpful and I didn’t have to wait long for my order. (~10min max?) I’ve only tried the Ceylon and Jasmine lemon teas for now but they are both very flavorful, refreshing, and not too sweet. Haven’t tried the egg tarts yet. Going to update my rating once I’ve tried more of the menu ;)
Omg love Tea Pulse’s egg tarts so much and finally tried their lemon cloud tart, very tasty too. This location is spacious, clean and aesthetic. They have lots of great tea options & the location is perfect for when going to work nearby by or just shopping around. ☺️🥳
I’m so glad this place is finally open next to my work! Imma come back everyday haha! I love love love the egg tart and the Thai tea!
This spot is super clean and the vibes are just right! The staff were really friendly and helpful throughout my visit. I have to say, the drinks were absolutely delicious too. It's definitely a place I'd recommend checking out if you're looking for a good time. I'll be back for sure!
