Crema's Take

Tutu's Place is a beloved museum café in Honolulu where the pace is deliberately slow and convivial, making it ideal for lingering conversations over excellent coffee and surprisingly stellar food like their renowned pork sourdough sandwich. The warm, friendly service and inviting decor create a relaxed gathering spot that feels more like visiting a local's favorite hangout than a typical café, though you'll want to arrive with time to spare given the consistently busy crowds. It's the kind of place where being unhurried becomes part of the charm, rewarding patient visitors with quality coffee, thoughtful seasonal specials, and light fare that justifies the wait.

Pork sourdough sandwich was AWESOME! As the other reviews said, it is slow due to being so busy. Coffee was also very good. As long as you're not in a rush, you will be very happy. We were!!

We're repeat visitors as members of the museum. Service is so friendly and the food is great. A bit pricey even for Hawaii but it's a museum Cafe so doesn't bother me. Had the chinese new year special soda today and they were so good!

Not recommending if you are in a rush, we lined up for 40mins and by that point we decided to just buy a spam musubi and coffee, scared that it would take us another hour if we get proper food. We ended up waiting another 20mins just for the coffee to be made. There were also no seats in the restaurant.

Great decor and a nice place to relax. Flatbread was great and so was the cheesecake.

I just happened to be here the first day after their grand reopening. We only ordered a snack because we had already eaten but the space is so inviting and the revamped menu looks delicious. I heard someone come up to the counter an compliment the flatbread. My daughter was so torn which pastry to order but we settle on the Lilikoi glazed monstera sized palmier cookie which she says is her new favorite cookie. We will have to come back to try the food!
