Crema's Take

This Wynantskill haven seamlessly blends a serious baking operation with a genuinely welcoming coffeehouse, where fluffy scones and deeply savory quiches rival the thoughtfully crafted lattes in quality. The space itself has real character with ample seating that accommodates solo remote workers and friend groups alike, while the rotating specials like their vegetarian bean chili and expanding gluten-free selection show a kitchen that's actually listening to its community. It's the kind of place where you can settle in for hours knowing the pastries are excellent, the staff genuinely cares, and the interior will make you want to stay longer than you planned.

Our treats were excellent! Not as many vegan choices as I would want...but the cupcake was delicious and the staff were all friendly

Lovely and beautiful inside, the quiches were so cheesy and flavorful. The scones, especially the more savory ones, had a great flavor with a more fluffy texture. Looking forward to new flavors as they come.

The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, with plenty of spaces for groups of many sizes. The lattes were delicious, and the staff were quite hospitable. We were most blown away by the baked goods. The star of the show was the fresh basil, feta, and cheddar quiche. I would be surprised if the crust was not homemade. The cinnamon roll was more cinnamon forward than most (but very tasty) and the strawberry shortcake was a delightful blend of bright flavors and textures. We thoroughly our first experience at The Fifth Tier and we will certainly be back!

Very good bakery and a great place to hang out in a cool setting. The interior of this bakery has a wow factor. Lots of seating and places to have lunch/breakfast with friends. They have a wide variety of baked goods but their quiches and scones, both sweet and savory, are definitely the highlight. We had a mushroom leek gruyere scone which was hot and very mushroomy which was a plus. They have other baked goods like cinnamon buns and whoopie pies. They also have a wide variety of drinks. The service is friendly and they also have a wide variety of gluten free options, including the quiches.
