Venue Coffee
1919 S Industrial Hwy, Ann Arbor, MI
Crema's Take
“Tucked within Ann Arbor's Venue space, this espresso-focused café wins hearts with thoughtfully prepared cappuccinos and lattes that showcase the beans' natural character, alongside surprisingly excellent house-made pastries and fresh light food like grilled cheese that elevate it beyond typical coffee shop fare. The vibe strikes that rare balance between a quick caffeine stop and a lingering destination—the décor is genuinely charming with whimsical details that make you smile, while the staff's warmth and outdoor seating create an inviting spot for both solo work sessions and catching up with friends. Fair warning: some find the espresso pulls a touch bold and bitter, which is part of the shop's character rather than a flaw.”

Very rarely do I find a coffee shop with food this fresh and yummy😍 I went simple with grilled cheese and tomato soup and a vanilla latte, but they did not. This is real good food and you can tell there’s real effort put in. Plus the atmosphere is cozy and adorable Edit 1/3/26: I love this place, the staff, the chef, everyone is so welcoming and nice and I keep coming back! Thank you guys for always giving the best experience 🫶🏼
It was a bit hard to find the rcorrect door at first and I ended up walking into the main Venue. All of the staff were incredibly nice. My cappuccino tasted beyond burnt.
Nice coffee place with a pleasant atmosphere. I only tried the cappuccino — it was smooth and well prepared. The coffee is strong with a slightly bitter taste. There are a few seats outside and a cozy area inside. Cakes, savory bagels, soups, and breakfast options are also available. A very nice spot overall – the owner really seems to care about the customers’ needs.
Loved this place during my very first visit and have returned a couple of more times since then. Very nicely decorated and calming coffee place. The coffee-latte was smooth and creamy, so far the best I have had in AA. The barista at the counter is welcoming as well.
Gorgeous, aesthetic spot for a cup of coffee with a friend. Everything about this shop made me smile when I walked in -- from the wall art to the whimsical chairs to the menu. Plus, my oat cortado was exactly what I hoped it would be. Definitely a new favorite in the area.
