Such a cute little coffee spot. Honestly an amazing find. The place has such cozy and warm vibes, almost like a little underground café tucked away. They even have a backyard seating area which was closed because of winter and snow, but I can imagine it being beautiful in the warmer months. What really stood out was the girl working that Sunday, Feb 15th around 3 pm. She was the only one handling everything and customers were walking in every minute. She was fast, clean, answered every question patiently, and had a smile the entire time. Not once did she look stressed or overwhelmed. Working in the restaurant industry myself, I know how hard that can be. She truly deserves a raise for her work ethic and attitude. The coffee was amazing too. I would definitely come back to try more of their lattes, both hot and cold. Great vibes, great service, and just an all around feel good spot.

Favourite spot whenever I am in Jersey City. In May 2022 and October 2023, good coffee! Friendly staff and kind yet communal atmosphere. Much love all the way from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Excited to be back in due time to chill out and have some good coffee! Get their Stoop-waffle and place on the coffee to heat them up, it's delicious!

I wanted to share how pleasant my experience is every morning when I walk into Lackawanna Coffee. I’m so lucky to live right nearby. The employees (who sorta feel like friends now!) are always incredibly friendly and welcoming, which makes each visit even better. Their burnt caramel coffee is amazing - please consider making it a year-round flavor!

Great local coffee shop. Indoor seating area is cool with a brutalist style unlike most other places in the neighborhood. There is also outdoor seating in the back with some tree cover, perfect in the summer. One of the baristas always stands out to me because he steams the milk so perfectly (even skim which is super difficult to get right). I can’t comment on their pure espresso grind/brew technique since I never order pure espresso, but I do buy their beans for making coffee at home and they’ve always tasted great. They also offer an espresso tonic which I had regularly on hot days. It’s quite a popular spot which says a lot. I’ll keep coming for sure.

We love the spot on Grove street. Great little shop and the baristas are always the best. Great place for any type of coffee, but any of their espresso drinks are top notch. For at home bean grinders, they have their own blend through Partner roasters and is one the best around. A bag of beans gets you a free cup of coffee which is awesome.
