Today's Brew
800 New Loudon Rd, Latham, NY
Crema's Take
“Today's Brew in Latham has built a serious reputation around wings that inspire their own dedicated menu section, with regulars raving they're among the best they've ever had—crispy, flavorful, and clearly worth the trip on their own. Beyond the wings, the kitchen turns out genuinely impressive pub fare like half-pound burgers and philly cheesesteaks that pair perfectly with a thoughtful beer selection, all served quickly in a warm atmosphere that works equally well for a solo coffee grab or lingering dinner with friends. With a 4.6-star rating from over 300 reviews, this spot has earned its reputation as a neighborhood favorite that takes both its craft beverages and food seriously.”

This place has my new best philly cheese steak sandwich. The wings are out standing try the salt and vinegar.
Beer bones is a shell of what made it great. It went from a great Craft Beer location with awesome food to your average sports bar with okay food. Beer Bones was always a special place for us as we were there when it first opened. We always loved the vibe now it's just your average bar nothing remarkable has the same 10 beers on tap that everywhere else has. RIP OG Beer Bones Taproom.
Yup. This place absolutely justified having THE WINGS be its own menu called THE WINGS. Wow. Stupid-good. Like, maybe the best I’ve ever had. The burgers are absolutely solid 1/2lb pub burgers. In this world of growing stacked smash-burgers and thin patties, sometimes you find yourself wanting a big old pub burger. Also, they have so many different styles of fries! And they’re all great! We’re gonna try to make our way through the menu over the next couple years, because what a treat! We sat on checking this place out for years, and all I can say is that we’re kicking ourselves for all the wasted time! Now we know! Also, the staff was perhaps the most pleasant and friendly and helpful we’ve ever had. So many beers! Great stuff, will have to try some cocktails next time. Big ol bar with ample counter space and hooks for coats and bags too. A++ experience.
Really nice atmosphere and excellent food. Had wings for myself, and my wife had the Rachel, and both were top notch. Everything came out quick, and we had no complaints. The only thing we wondered at was why there wasn’t another server helping out. From what we saw, there was only one waitress working with multiple tables and people at the bar. She was incredible, but it seemed to be asking a lot of a single person to cover everything. Other than that, no criticisms. Great place, and we’ll definitely go back.
Went to Beer Bones Taproom for some drinks and dinner and was genuinely blown away by the quality of the food and drinks. My boyfriend knows way more about beer than I do and loved the menu. I ordered an old fashioned which was perfection. But check out these sandwiches. The first was a tuna steak sandwich with wasabi and veggies. The tuna was cooked to perfection. My sandwich was a portobello with peppers and chevre. The chef shared that the kitchen is undergoing some changes so the menu is limited to appetizers, salads, and burgers/sandwiches but he should be adding more soon. Definitely going back.
