Crema's Take

Tucked into a charming Salt Lake City neighborhood, this split-level café rewards explorers with a genuinely welcoming atmosphere—complete with live acoustic music on weekend mornings and a dedicated upstairs play area that makes it a rare gem for families seeking real third-place comfort. The avocado toast and pastries keep regulars coming back, though some of their heartier brunch items are better skipped in favor of their strong coffee foundations and consistently thoughtful service from a genuinely nice team.

I love the area, the front desk lady was very helpful and nice! There isn’t a lot of parking, mostly neighborhood parking. It has an upstairs and downstairs! The upstairs has toys for kids to play.

Such a cute and cozy cafe. I really enjoyed the vibe inside. I had the avocado toast and it was pretty tasty. Definitely recommend this place.

I had really high hopes for this place the brunch was a big disappointment. The Innkeeper’s Breakfast and the Bison Gravy & Biscuit both lacked flavor and just didn’t meet the menu descriptions. Even the coffee and pastries were underwhelming, which was surprising for a beautiful charming place with great customer service.

Do you want to pay $20 and get a little snack in a box then this is the place. Lady said that after 1 pm they serve it in a box and that she told one of our group members but they absolutely did not. There were 3 spiders and 1 roach that I killed. No sense of customer service in this place. FIRST TIME HERE AND LAST TIME HERE!

I wish I could score higher than a 5/5. This place is perfection. The vibes are immaculate. We went on a Saturday morning, and there was a live band playing light cafe music. They have outdoor and indoor seating which gives it almost a European cafe vibe. The service was great as well, but the food and atmosphere stole the show. We got the toffee nut latte, a cappuccino, the avocado toast with bacon and the cottage cakes. Every single thing we got was spectacular and we scraped our plates cleans.
