Crema's Take

Monday Mornings Coffee Co. is a beloved local spot in Coeur d'Alene where the baristas—especially Lily—seem to genuinely care about getting every drink just right, creating a consistently welcoming experience for regulars and first-time visitors alike. With two convenient locations, fresh ingredients, and a solid lineup of pastries and light food, it's become the go-to meeting place for families and friends who appreciate good coffee made by staff who are both efficient and genuinely kind. The clean, accessible space feels like the kind of neighborhood coffee shop where you're treated like you matter, even when things get busy.

I used to absolutely love this place and was a regular, I have now switched and stopped going. A girl that worked at bostons brew that made me stop going there started working here, her name is Cassie and her customer service is terrible. She’s rude and don’t care about customers maybe a select few from what I’ve seen at the window “ what do you want” isn’t a very friendly approach when you’re working customer service along with the tone of voice and attitude it didn’t happen once it’s happened multiple times. I know I’m not the only person she’s ran away from here nothing short of rude, and she clearly don’t like her job she signed up to do or know how to treat people to be in the position she’s in, window service is not her thing. Having a rude personality and customer service dose not mix well. Her biggest worry is about a paycheck not what it takes to earn said paycheck or the job she is doing or how she treats people while doing it. Tons of other nice baristas sad that one ruins it for all.

I was in CDA headed to the freeway and thought I would try this coffee stand for the first time and now my last. I placed my order with one girl, who relayed it to the next girl. When that happens, I usually watch the barista make my drink. Sure enough the 2nd girl used 2% milk when I asked for fat-free/skim. I was told that this coffee stand does not even carry skim milk /fat-free milk, that 2% was as close as they had. though I was offered almond milk and oat milk as the alternative milk. I only wanted to leave a review because I just think it would’ve been nice when I originally told the girl my order, if she would have stated that they do not carry skim or fat-free milk. I would have probably just gone to my normal coffee stand. I obviously still drank the coffee and it was okay. I will say this is the first coffee stand that I have heard of that does not have skim/fat-free milk. I feel like that is strange, but maybe I’m wrong? I think honesty is the best policy. Please don’t take my order and then add whatever you want To finish my drink. Thank you. Larisa

With two locations and a wide verity of food and drinks this is a common stop with family, friends and I. Staff are fast, efficient and extremely kind! Glad we have a local spot with fresh ingredients and a reasonably priced menu. Daybreak was very well known but you can still find the same coffee even with new ownership! They’ve added a lot of food and specials, including a weekday food special (love the croissants(Wednesday) and burritos(Friday)) they even have a redbull or lotus special in the afternoons Mon-Fri! My new favorite stand!
