Crema's Take

Tucked in San Francisco's Financial District, this Yemeni cafe brings authentic tradition to the city with their signature Adeni chai served by the pot and carefully roasted Arabic light roasts that invite you to linger. The warm, thoughtfully lit space and genuinely friendly staff make it equally suited for deep conversations with friends or settling in with your laptop, all while you can graze through their selection of fresh pastries. It's the kind of neighborhood gem where you're encouraged to slow down and actually savor your drink rather than rush out.

Lovely cafe offering a tea service where you can get a pot and sip at your leisure. Also a wide selection of pastries. There’s a good mix of seating options as well and the staff was super friendly. Unfortunately, I could not get a good WiFi connection while I was there.

Sana’a Cafe in FiDi is such a gem. We ordered a full pot of Adeni chai and it was rich, perfectly spiced, and comforting — exactly what you want when you’re settling in to relax or catch up with friends. The decor is absolutely beautiful, with thoughtful wall art and photos that give the space so much character and warmth. There’s plenty of seating, which makes it great whether you’re stopping by solo, meeting friends, or staying a while. Service was friendly and attentive without feeling rushed. They also have a great selection of desserts, so it’s an easy spot to satisfy a sweet tooth after chai. Parking is paid street parking, but totally worth it for the experience. Overall, a cozy, welcoming cafe with great vibes, solid service, and consistently good drinks and desserts. Highly recommend if you’re in the Financial District.

Sana'a Cafe offers a nice quiet environment to unwind and enjoy a beverage and desert. The decor is interesting and the ambience of the lighting, wall color, and furniture is comforting. The Chai tea is a little to sweet for my taste but it was pleasantly good. I definitely will return.

It’s nice to have a Yemeni cafe in SF! The menu is impressive here, a lot of drinks and desserts. I was not too impressed by the iced adeni chai, compared to the other Yemeni cafe’s I’ve been to - it felt a bit watered down. Willing to give them another shot some time though. The Nutella cheesecake was good.
