Handsome Biscuit

4224 Virginia Beach Blvd, Virginia Beach, VA

Crema's Take

Handsome Biscuit does breakfast and lunch sandwiches with real care, building its reputation on properly executed biscuits and proteins like tender, juicy chicken that keep people coming back despite the occasional portion-size grumbles. The Virginia Beach location welcomes families and hungry folks looking for a quick, quality bite, though it operates cashless and relies on kiosk ordering—a system that's straightforward once you know what to expect. This is the kind of place where the basics are done right, making it worth a stop if you're craving a genuinely good biscuit sandwich, not just a convenient one.

First time visit. My mother had the Original Chicken Biscuit and loved it. I had the Shorty with egg, cheese and sausage. Very good and the biscuit itself delicious. The tater tots were also good. My mother appreciated they had coffee available. Two small wishes—maybe some country ham as another choice. And some mayo for the OG Chicken. Next time I want to try the tenders, they looked delicious!

We ordered the chicken sandwich and hella fitz. The chicken was cooked to perfection, tender and juicy. I was a little nervous to try this location bc of the mixed reviews I've read. We ordered to-go and enjoyed it so much. My bf was over the moon w his biscuit.

This is my 2nd attempt with Handsome biscuit. The portion size of the wraps are tiny for what you are paying. These would be $2.99 at most at any other restaurant. This visit I got the chicken sandwich and have to share the same complaint. A small sliver of chicken that barely covers half of the bun. At $10 for a chicken sandwich with no side, you could have a much larger chicken sandwich, quicker service, a side dish and a drink at almost any other business. Very disappointed in the value.

I was recommended this place and I pleased with the experience. This is a cashless business (not really thrilled with that). Overall the food was good, hot and well worth the try. Had the hella Fitzgerald, Stevie, tater tots and a wrap. For the price the wrap wasn’t worth it. The sandwiches were better and worth it. The comeback sauce was decent. If you’re in the area give it a try.

Stumbled across the VB location so we decided to give it a try. When we walked in we were greeted and told to place our order using the kiosk. Not to hard to figure out, lots of ordering options. We got the Chicken Verde, Chicken Classic with no cheese, and two orders of tots. To us we thought the bill was a bit high but the food came quickly. At first glance not a bad presentation. The biscuit was a bit dark, the dark meat chicken was tender with good flavor. At first bit it was messy / fell apart. Standard tots were crispy. Never been here before so we did not know what comeback sauce was. We first thought it was cheese but the server told us it was the sauce. I liked the sauce but my wife did not. Probably not our spot for biscuits but I think we would give it another try.
