Crema's Take
“Surfas Culinary District is a wonderfully unexpected gem that combines a serious gourmet marketplace with a surprisingly excellent café—think Italian artisan pasta and specialty flours mingling with fresh portobello empanadas and thoughtfully composed salads. The space buzzes with the energy of both home cooks hunting for quality ingredients and visitors looking for a genuinely good meal, all while receiving warm, attentive service that makes you feel noticed. Whether you're grabbing a coffee and pastry or settling in for a longer visit, this is a place where culinary passion clearly runs through every detail.”

Best salad, and fantastic menu options.
Great place to find good quality cooking stuff, they also have wide selection of spices, sauces, quality olive oil, Italian artisan pasta good as gift, lots of flours etc..couldn't keep my eyes off as there are many unique things you normally don't find. I haven't tried it yet, but the cafe also looks good with yummy snacks and dessert.
Had the portobello empanada It was delicious... Great service & jennifer the lady that takes your order & money is wonderful
We have been trying to get in to see this place for over a year. Finally, today we remembered to get in there. First, it's a rather big place. It is jammed full of culinary goodness. I could find the really unique items here that make cooking faster, easier, more efficient. Second, the prices were excellent. The sales staff won't breathe down your neck and yet they're immediately available to answer any questions. The two there today were very nice and we felt comfortable around them. The store is clean, quaint, and clever. There's a lot here to see but I've taken more than a few photos and some videos to share. UPDATE: I went in on Thursday when I'm normally at work. This time the place was packed! Also, Taco Mamas has a satellite diner in here! You could spend an entire afternoon in here. We bought more bowls and some of their delicious bread from the store- we did not yet eat at Taco Mamas but we plan to when we have more time. Additionally, this place has a beautiful courtyard in the back where events are held. You could have a wedding reception there, I believe. It has well established white Jasmine vines as well as some yellow Jessamine vines. It is gorgeous. This place is seriously a Hot Springs gem. I don't believe they have evening hours so you must arrive during the day but make sure you visit!
The cafe was a nice surprise. We were greeted when we walked into the store. The prices were very reasonable. The food was delicious. The fruit salad was unexpected with the sandwich.
