Crema's Take

Tucked within a charming Santa Fe hotel, this espresso-focused café surprises visitors with genuinely creative drinks that go beyond standard coffee shop fare—think espresso cocktails that elevate your morning ritual. The space strikes that rare balance of being both a serious third place for lingering and a welcoming spot for casual meetings, backed by thoughtful service, live music on Friday nights, and a kitchen that takes breakfast and light fare seriously enough that diners rave about pot pies and homemade cakes as much as the coffee itself.

Wow! What a great, unexpected experience! Having lived here for many years, I've driven by this hip hotel so many times but never thought to explore the grounds or restaurant. The drinks are creative and refreshing. I liked my husband's drink with mezcal and jalapeno syrup best (spicy, smoky, and not too sweet.) We shared the beet salad and sweet chili chicken wings to start. Both were great! The dressing played up the natural sweetness of the beets and the wings were delectably balanced in a sweet/spicy/salty sauce that came with house pickled veggies. I ordered the chicken pot pie, and my husband had the bang bang shrimp tacos. I loved the fluffy biscuit on the 'pie' and the thyme infused sauce and tender chicken. We were so full we brought dessert home. We will definitely be coming back again and bringing friends. Btw, they were setting up for live music for later in the evening. Can't wait to check it out next time.

Wow. What an incredible meal! My espresso cocktail was next level and the food was absolutely amazing. We shared entrees and both were excellent. The pot pie was rich and flavorful, and the burger was probably the best burger I have ever eaten. I am so glad that I will be in Santa Fe for a few weeks because I plan on frequenting this restaurant as much as possible

Came to The Mystic Hotel located in Santa Fe, NM, in need of both rest and rejuvenation. Was delighted to discover they provided beyond what I would consider a Continental breakfast. The atmosphere was lovely and the food was exceptional, it definitely set the tone for the start of the day! Service was exceptional, the environment was tidy and relaxed, and my overall stay was delightfully peaceful! Way to go, Mystic, I'll be back again!

The most amazing craft drinks and food at affordable prices and impeccable service! Unique, comfortable dining experience and live music on a Friday night. Staff were all attentive, friendly and helpful. The Caesar salad with chicken was literally the best I've ever had! The boozy burger was mouth watering and delicious.

I stopped by High Desert Cafe & Bar and tried one of their cakes, which was absolutely delicious! It was a little pricey, but totally worth it for the quality and flavor. The ambiance of the cafe was fantastic, with a cozy, welcoming vibe that made it a great spot to relax. Overall, it was a lovely experience, and I’d definitely recommend it if you’re looking for a treat in a comfortable setting!
