I went in December on a Monday at 11am with a friend to try it for the first time. I try to go to all the local coffee shops in Wichita, and had been meaning to go since they opened. We were disappointed. The service was slow/nonexistent, maybe the girl was new. I got the ginger bread latte, my friend got a matcha, and we both got a burrito. No pastries, they were out. The coffee was ok, but tasted weak/watery. My friend said the same about her matcha. The cookie on top was good though. Our burritos were super small for what we paid, and not the greatest quality. Reverie breakfast burritos are better imo. Have to say though the salsa was bomb, I would pay for a jar if they had them. There is a decent amount of seating with lots of natural light. The vibes are great, but it’s overpriced for what you get.
Authentic, family owned, and spectacular coffee. I visit this cafe every single day. It's conveniently located in a historic and stunning building with lots of gorgeous light. The entire staff is knowledgeable and treat you like family. I travel nationally and internationally for work and this place rivals every single cafe in large metropolises, every time. (I often find myself missing their Coco Lily Latte when I am away for work). If you're visiting Wichita or a lifelong local, you NEED to be getting your daily fix here. Such a TREAT to have here in the ICT.
I stopped by recently and overall had a decent experience. The environment is nice and clean, and the place definitely has a good vibe when you first walk in. Culture-wise, I was expecting a little bit more based on the hype. I’d rate the coffee about an 8/10 — and that’s being generous. It was good, just not amazing. The inside was also a bit cold, which made it feel less cozy than I was hoping for. I would come back and give it another shot, but in my opinion, it’s a little overhyped compared to what I experienced.
I was in town for a conference with a couple of friends and we wanted to try a local coffee shop. We were so happy Adelita's popped up in our search! This was the best coffee we have ever had. The restaurant is bright, cheery, clean. Food was delicious. Coffee was absolutely phenomenal.
Very cool spot. Great Vibes art and music and unique drinks that are made from scratch. The barista was incredibly patient with me as I asked 700 questions and then had to run back to my car to get my reusable cup. Definitely come check it out!
