I always love coming here to sample teas, learn about new ones and add to my collection. This store literally has everything for a true tea afficiando. Staff is always warm, welcoming and knowledgeable. There are many great gift sets, tea accessories and sample boxes as well.
This is the cutest most magical place. Beautiful decor and vibes to match. Prices are amazing. Hot brewed teas and loose teas for sale.
I LOVE Louisville tea company. I’m the type who just likes to try different things so I thrive off their 3 tea sampler for $16 (you pick your own flavors). These go a long way too, I would say I get about 6 tea cups (not mug) worth of servings per bag. It’s not just a place to buy loose leaf tea, you can also get drinks there as well. There are places to sit and you are welcome to but it’s definitely more of a store than a cafe. Recommendations (I prefer black teas): Their flavored and seasonal teas are pretty good but the best kind are the Pu-erhs: Chocolate Puerh, Sticky Rice Tuo Cha, Pistachio Puerh…fantastic black teas. Lapsang Souchong and rocky oolong are good too. The blue chai is also fun and delicious (it really is blue, just make sure you get a flower in there). I have tried so many already and there are plenty more to explore.
20230912 So glad I finally made it! Wow! This store has so many different tea. I looked around online first before stopping in and had my shopping list ready. I looked around first, and there is much stuffed neatly packed into this store. Kind of reminds me of a Hallmark gift shop but for tea. The owner I met today is 1 of the 4 owners. She got me samples of the 5 tea I was interested in to see and smell, and she provided a card with info on ingredients for each tea. What's interesting is that she quickly collected each card as she brought another sample out. I picked 3 to try and will order if I end up liking them. I also bought 2 that were on sale, sounded yummy and fruity. You can also order tea to drink thereor to go. They have a nice counter set up for that. The owner was helpful, informative, and professional. There was 2 ladies there looking to buy tea but they were there when I got there and after I left. For some reasons, I felt rushed. I would have prefer a little friendlier and welcoming service. I prefer my shopping experience more fun, rather than just a business transaction... order, pay and leave. It's all about the experience. I still tipped her 15% for my purchase, even though she didn't spend much time with me. She quickly returned to those 2 customers and 1 just walked in as I was leaving. Will update this review once I have a chance to try the tea when I got home. Hope the tea is good. 202207 One of the things that annoys me most is... when I'm on vacation, finally made it to a business, and they are closed!! 🙄 I'm heading home tomorrow and unlikely to make it back. Oh well... maybe I will take my chances and order online when I get home.
I went for a tea and cheese tasting to try some of their tea. Staff was very knowledgeable, but I had to ask multiple questions to pull it out of her. I got to try three different teas for $5. Not bad if you like the ones on offer that day. The "cheese" was actually a little scoop of cream cheese. Not what I was expecting. Still, a nice shop with a large selection of loose leaf teas. The "menu" was overwhelming to me, so I told the worker what I liked and she let me smell some of the ones I was interested in. I bought a small selection to try. The prices for the tea itself are a bit high, but still cheaper to make your own at home if you find one you like. Cute shop with gifts and tea accessories available as well.
