Tram Cream Coffee
1621 N Capitol Ave, San Jose, CA
Crema's Take
“Tram Cream Coffee draws a passionate crowd for its signature egg coffees and creative cold brew drinks that blur the line between beverage and dessert, though the small cup sizes swim with ice that can overwhelm the carefully crafted flavors. The cozy, music-filled space feels like a slice of Korea transplanted to San Jose—perfect for lingering with friends—but be prepared for a patient wait, as the owner's focus on craft sometimes means slower service during busy hours. If you can embrace the leisurely pace and don't mind requesting less ice, you'll discover genuinely inventive drinks that taste as good as they look.”

Whoever owns this place, work on your operations. It should not take 30 minutes to make coffee, and even on the off chance that it does, adjust your operations to suit the needs of the people. That is literally the point of a business. At this rate you might as well shut down. I have consistently waited hours for a coffee that should have taken at most 30 minutes. No hate, but do better.
got a small egg coffee today and it was literally 60% ice and almost impossible to get the straw inside. unbelievably bitter because it's not possible to mix the egg cream into the coffee and poorly mixed without breaking the cup open took the drink apart when i got home, here's a pic. i shouldn't be paying $6.75 for an iceberg, and you shouldn't either. please crush your ice!! there's a better Tram Cream on Story Road. go there instead
Tried it out and it was bomb, kinda lil bit of everything. I'll come back to try more, my near 8M views compels me too lol. Friendly place, comfortable and the beats made me feel like i was in a korean soap opera, bass i liked it. Update, like 3rd time here, gets better every time i try something new. Had to get chicken again and they gave me their sweet n sour sauce.
I heard about it on my friend's facebook about their recent grand open. I was really hot to try this place based on the pictures. I brought my friend from Spain who is staying there in San Jose to try Viet snacks, even though I'm Italian. (She had never tried Viet Coffee). We ordered the "Signature" Egg Cream Coffee, Watermelon Tea, a BBQ pork Bahn Mi, Rice Paper Combo, and Chicken Nuggets. I was attracted in the online menu to the Calimari Heads (see screenshot of menu in photos), but this location was not serving them, but the goodies we got were all good. Everything was on point. Everything was delicious. The store is attractive and the location is still essentially brand new. I drove all the way down from Daly City, it would be cool if the Tram Cream Team could colonize an outlet up here in this area.
Got an egg coffee and a salted cream coffee at 8:30am today. They taste perfect, but have too much ice in the small size. The added coffee jelly was a surprise for me. Good surprise though! The service was super fast, and the staff was very friendly. Lovely decorations, too! Take advantage of the grand opening promotions! On another note, it was sad to see a homeless person lying outside in the early winter morning.
