Crema's Take

Taro Coffee Bar has built a devoted following around its signature taro latte, a creative specialty that keeps visitors coming back multiple times during their stays in Moab. Beyond the standout drinks—including inventive offerings like ruby chocolate cold brew—the café excels with exceptional pastries and a genuinely warm, unhurried atmosphere that invites you to linger whether you're grabbing something quick or settling in for a longer visit. The team's friendly, attentive service combined with the independently owned charm makes this feel like a genuine community gathering spot rather than just another coffee stop on a road trip.

The service was very friendly and upbeat. I bought a hot chocolate and it tasted like warm milk with a hint of chocolate. My wife got a cold brew with ruby chocolate. She said it was delicious. And their raspberry Danish was flakey with just the right amount of preserves. Overall it was a very nice atmospheric coffee shop right in the middle of Kanab.

Best coffee in Kanab! The taro latte is so delicious I came to get it multiple times while staying in Kanab. The pastries are also outstanding!

One of our best coffee's during our trip in US! Taro is amazing as well as chocolate chip cookies. The service was fast and friendy.

I was thrilled to visit this spot! As advocates for local businesses, we prefer to support independently owned establishments rather than chains. However, I might not have communicated my order clearly because all I wanted was an iced coffee with vanilla flavor. I typically enjoy it super sweet, but as you can see in the photos, it turned out to be just regular coffee. Unfortunately, I couldn't finish it and ended up getting my caffeine fix from a nearby gas station. On the bright side, everyone else in my group loved their drinks, so perhaps I just needed to clarify to the barista that I was looking for something much sweeter instead of just a hint of flavor.

A great coffee spot in town! I visited during a road trip and ended up coming here both days of my stay. The vibe is comfortable, clean, and perfect for relaxing—whether you need a break from the road or a quick stop before heading to the National Park. There's also a small gift shop inside, which is worth browsing while you wait for your coffee.
