Crema's Take
“Cloudforest is a artisanal chocolatier that mills its own cacao in-house, crafting decadent drinking chocolates like their signature Mesopotamian blend and rich Paris hot chocolate alongside house-made ice cream in unexpected flavors like strawberry buttermilk and spearmint chip. The cozy spot feels like the perfect refuge on a cold evening, where you can linger over enormous, beautifully made macarons and creative buttermilk drinks while soaking in genuinely warm service.”

Decadent chocolate, got the brown buttermilk and meso American. Def returning. The ice cream was amazing too but didn’t want to get a hot and cold so saving that for next time.
Really lovely little spot for a sweet treat on a cold evening. The macarons are enormous and well made. The Paris drinking chocolate is very rich and not very sweet. I didn’t actually finish mine, but I look forward to coming back and trying some of the other flavors. There are several tables and benches, and it was a quiet, welcoming atmosphere on a dreary Saturday night. Definitely a cute spot for a date night.
I chose the strawberry buttermilk ice cream and it is so good. They also have flavors like triple vanilla, salted chocolate, spearmint chip special cacao fruit. They bought cute little chocolate bars on tables nice soft pastel wall art with a matching packaged items very simple and a beautiful place with some plants. They also have macaroons and cookies and other products. The staff was so nice to highly recommend.
Amazing little chocolatier shop with friendly service. All chocolates are processed in house. They have a little mill and everything. We tried the Mesopotamian chocolate drink. It’s not too sweet and has a little kick. It’s made with a spicy honey that the barista, who I’m sure might be the owner, bc oof she was on it! She was invested and hustling and bustling with a smile on her face.
I did not know that they opened up a location out on Hawthorne area, but glad that they did. I went in and noticed that they had some ice cream offerings as well as their chocolates and drinks. I had the hypercoffee flavor ice cream and that hit the afternoon slump. I can't wait to come back to try the other flavors here.
