My first visit to this relatively new coffee shop in Beech Grove. I know they took over the space of a former shop, but I find this new shop much more welcoming and inviting than the former. I will certainly return and it has the making of a nice third place for me.
Love the friendliness of the staff and owners. It is starting to feel like home at the Main Street, Beech Grove shop 😊. Everything is clean and serene… I just sometimes miss the comfy couch or a couple bigger chairs…I hope someday they will extend their hours till 5:00 or 6 pm especially when it stays lighter outside. I am sure people would stop in as they are walking on Main or getting off work /school.
We love the Mocha Nut! We were so excited to hear they were opening a location closer to home. If you are looking for a cozy, family friendly and homemade tasting coffeehouse this is the place to go. Our favorites are the café miel and banana miso.
Mocha Nut: The coffee itself was okay, nothing special, but the workers had good customers service skills. There's also a limited amount of gluten free options, potentially may come back to see if they add more or if they expand their menu. However, they turned this place from a cozy and welcoming place, where you would want to stay to a soulless millennial beige corporate h-llscape. Legit devoid of all character, a Starbucks has more. Instead of spending money on painting, they should have spent it on getting creative. Orginal Place: Nice local place, I enjoy their chai, matcha, and the gluten free desserts. Restrooms are fun and they have nice sitting options with outlets. - Will miss this place and doing my work and writing here-
Cute coffee shop but unfortunately is going to close 7/26/25. Coffee and latte were spot on with good flavor. Some of past coffee shops did not have half and half but this store had this, plus no charge on regular coffee refills.
