Crema's Take

Tucked into a beautifully reimagined historic bank building, Eleanor's is a charming Palmetto gathering spot where carefully sourced espresso and housemade pastries like banana nut bread and inventive breakfast burritos shine. The friendly staff and thoughtfully designed space make it equally perfect for lingering over a laptop or meeting a friend, with regulars praising the quality of both the coffee and the renovation's attention to preserving the original character of the space.

I stopped by Eleanor's Coffee and Cakes for a first-time visit today. The café's exterior and interior design are both very cute. My takeout order was efficiently handled by the friendly staff. I particularly enjoyed the avocado toast and the oatmeal cream pie, which was full of flavor. The iced vanilla latte I ordered was also tasty.

I stopped by Eleanor’s Coffee & Cakes and had a great experience. I ordered a coffee and the banana nut bread, and it was delicious—honestly some of the best I’ve had in a while. The girls working there were really nice, which made the visit even better. The place is very clean, aesthetically pleasing, and not too loud, making it a great spot to relax. They’re fairly new (opened in October), but I can already see this becoming a very popular place in the near future. I’ll definitely be telling everyone about it and coming back again.

As a long time Palmetto resident, I cannot say enough good things about Eleanor’s Coffee and Cakes. The renovation alone deserves appreciation! They took a great location and turned it into something warm, welcoming, and full of character while still respecting the charm of Palmetto. The coffee is consistently excellent, but the real showstopper is the desserts. The cakes and pastries are absolutely amazing, beautifully made and just as good as they look. It is the kind of place you go for coffee and then cannot leave without something sweet. Eleanor’s has quickly become a spot I am proud to bring friends and visitors to.

What a gem! Absolutely gorgeous. They kept character of the original bank and transformed it into a beautiful coffee shop. Delicious coffee. The breakfast burrito was so original and Absolutely delicious! The addition of salt sprinkled on the tortilla was such a unexpected and delicious detail. I will definitely be back. Highly recommend.

A quaint and eclectic spot for gatherings and focusing on work for the day. The espresso beans are absolutely surreal and delicious, probably some of the best I’ve tasted in my life! The syrups and pastries are all homemade and incredibly tasty! The staff is friendly and pleasant. My only complaint is that the service is a little slow, but overall it’s a fantastic experience and I’m happy to have a spot like this in our new neighborhood!
