Roots Roasting

Walked in for some coffee after a long flight and was greeted by the most welcoming and energetic staff. Ordered the smoked maple latte, the rose water latte, and the cardamom swirls. Everything was exceptional!

I just love this place! The miso maple latte was delicious. I normally don’t like flavored drinks, but this sounded interesting so thought I would try it. It did not disappoint. I also wanted to try a different coffee brewing technique and the staff was very helpful in assisting me to decide what to buy. I am appreciative of the decaf sample so I could experiment when I got home! I bought beans from here before when I’m in town. After this experience, noticing the kindness and generosity of the people who work there, I may need to order and fully support this small business and local roaster!

Tons of fun coffees to try out. Bonus points for using nice big mugs. I was adventurous and got the Miso Maple Coffee ☕️ very good!

I recently bought an espresso machine and a nice grinder and wanted to find a local-ish roaster to buy beans from regularly. We tried two others and weren't blown away but then I did some research and found Roots Roasting. We bought their Classic Espresso beans online and it took me maybe 2 or 3 shots to dial in and when I did—wow! We liked them so much that today we drove from Somerset, WI just to buy a fresh bag and to try their coffee in the shop. I went with a spiced mocha and my wife got "something fun" and they are both absolutely delicious! I know maybe it's a secret. But what beans are you using in house for these drinks? They are both great! If they are different than the Classic Espresso roast we might try a bag of whatever you are using next. We will be back and we will continue to order beans online if we can't make the drive. Really welcoming environment and the neighborhood is nice too. Great job Roots Roasting!

I stopped in on my way out of the city and was pleased overall by the service and my experience. The barista was friendly and offered a good suggestion for me + it was delicious and well-crafted. I also took a bag of Ethiopian beans home and brewed a cup today. Very good coffee! The roast and roaster notes were spot on.
