Crema's Take

Nestled within Will Rogers Airport, this Military Welcome Center and USO lounge is a spacious sanctuary where service members and military families can decompress during travels, complete with gaming consoles, luggage storage, and volunteer staff who go the extra mile—like the volunteers known for bringing in freshly made cinnamon buns. Beyond the traditional coffee and snacks, what really sets this spot apart is its welcoming atmosphere and genuine hospitality, with over 75 seats, abundant seating areas, and a super-clean environment that feels more like a friend's living room than a typical airport terminal. Whether you're waiting for a connection, need a quiet place to work, or just want to stretch out for a few hours, the enthusiastic volunteer staff here makes military travelers feel genuinely valued and cared for.

Cool spot for service members to hang out when traveling. PlayStation and Xbox available along with spots to store your luggage. Snacks and drinks available with variety. Overall a good spot with kind, helpful people working it.

My rating is based solely on the access to the Military Welcome Center. It is odd that the entrance to theWelcome Center is on the side where the ticket counters are and not on the side where the gates are. Other airport Military Welcome Centers I've had the pleasure of visiting were always located after you cleared security. So, I was surprised to learn OKC's Welcome Center is before security. I only learned of the new welcome center from the announcement broadcast throughout the airport. I was excited to check out the welcome center as Will Rogers Airport never had a dediciated room for military/veterans. It use to be just a small kiosk desk near baggage claim. I had to call the welcome center, because I couldn't find it. This is when I learned I would need to exit the gate area to visit the Welcome Center and would need to go through TSA again to get back to my gate. In my opinion, this setup doesn't allow military members a chance to fully utilize the Welcome Center or to use it at all.

Awesome place with very welcoming volunteer staff. One of the volunteers even brought in freshly made cinnamon buns that were delicious! Lots of room and lots of snack options! One of the better airport military lounges I have been to!

This is a Military Welcome / USO Center. It is one of the larger ones I have been in throughout the country. There is seating for over 75 people, lots of snacks and drinks. The place is super clean.. lots of luggage storage. There is even information on Basic Training at Fort Sill! Plus games and puzzles for those with littles waiting for their flight. To keep you on time, they have an arrival/departure TV screen to monitor and check your flight. Great place to grab a snack, get something to drink, and relax for a while if you have time. The volunteers are also super nice and welcoming. The center is super clean with restroom right outside the door.

Amazing experience, they are so friendly and welcoming. I’m a military spouse, I had to wait 4 hours for a ride and wasn’t able to get back into the airport for food or relaxing, I talked to the airport information center, they suggested I go to the military welcome center since I’m a veteran spouse. I went in and was welcomed immediately, I feel so honored and privileged to have this available. It’s so comfortable, they provide snacks, drinks, pizza. I’m able to use the wifi to work. Thank you so much from me and my husband Jacob Jameson OS2 USN FFG-47
