Denver Biscuit Co. - Stanley Marketplace
2501 Dallas St, Aurora, CO
Crema's Take
“This Stanley Marketplace gem serves up buttery, delicious biscuits alongside an unexpectedly impressive beer selection, making it a quirky spot where you can grab a stellar lox-and-bagel or breakfast sandwich alongside a craft brew. The industrial-chic atmosphere draws crowds who appreciate the casual vibe, though the cozy seating and occasional service slowdowns suggest going early or settling in for a longer visit. It's a place where the food quality shines brightest when you catch them fresh from the kitchen, and the warm, attentive staff makes up for the occasional misstep.”

Liked atmosphere but service was slow even w/ no crowd. Their hamburger was good, but I didn’t like the chicken biscuit sandwich. The drier texture of the biscuit did not make a good sandwich base even with the gravy that had good flavor.
The biscuit sandwich was great! I was a bit surprised at how large of a beer selection they had. Eggs were good, but could have been a little fluffier.
Great New York City Bagels. I had the lox-n-bagel.It was excellent. Tried a cinnamon with their homemade jelly phenomenal. Of course. It was a little loud for me.But considering where it was at and all the history, what a great place to check out. Also we seen Santa Claus there.. Get your bagel on....
The bar tender girl who greeted us and took our order was very sweet and nice. She was patient, and made sure we understood what we ordered. Our biscuits were good, not warm, and not fresh. The bacon was kinda burnt and hard to chew, not crispy at all. Eggs were good, cheese was good hashbrowns were good. The butter and jam were awesome.
I had read rave reviews about this place, and who doesn’t love biscuits? The atmosphere is cool, though the seating felt a little too tight for a weekday. The biscuit itself was delicious, and the mimosas were definitely on point. That said, I wasn’t super impressed with the service—it came across a little too “cool” for me. I understand the staff may know their regulars and their orders, but for new customers, writing things down would help avoid mistakes. The hash browns were plain and on the cooler side, which was disappointing. Considering the overall price, I’m not sure it would be worth a second visit. On the positive side, there’s ample parking and several other options in the same location.
