Crema's Take

Tucked away on State Street in Falmouth, this cozy café serves up genuinely excellent pastries and comfort food alongside carefully crafted coffee and organic tea in a relaxed, dog-friendly setting that feels like a local gathering spot. The atmosphere strikes that sweet spot between casual enough for a quick pastry run and welcoming enough to linger over breakfast with friends, and regulars rave about everything from the flawless cold brew to the standout Buffalo chicken tots. It's the kind of place where you sense the owners care about both the quality of what they're serving and making you feel at home.

There is no one other than us in line, for the cake order. The blonde pony tail female at the counter would not acknowledge us for next several minutes but when a man walked up to her and complained of the flooded bathroom, she gave him a full attention. We chose to leave. That is a bad traing of the employee. Hopefully we see the feedback next from the manager.

The Buffalo chicken loaded tots were outstanding, and the iced coffee was flawless. The cod fish sandwich was good, but the bread overshadowed the fish. I can't wait to return and explore more of the menu.

We stopped in for some hot tea. They serve organic tea and lots of baked goods and dog treats. The atmosphere was relaxing, the staff were friendly and an enjoyable time. The sweet treats were excellent. No allergen items offered.

I truly enjoyed my first time experience at the Black Dog Bakery Cafe for lunch! The warmth and inviting atmosphere, coupled with friendly customer service, truly set the stage for an enjoyable visit. The unique and flavorful coffee surpassed my expectations leaving a lasting impression. The thoughtful display of merchandise and the dog-friendly ambiance add a charming touch for canine enthusiasts. The classic train car and outdoor seating provide a lovely setting for patrons to savor their meals. The Black Dog Bakery and Cafe is a gem with their deliciously rich peanut butter cups for gluten-free lovers, and irresistible cupcakes and other delicious homemade Bakery items. It's clear that The Black Dog Cafe has earned a special place in my list of favorite eateries.

If you ever visit Martha’s Vineyard, I definitely suggest visiting the famous Black Dog Cafe. I wasn’t a fan of the wings but the lobster roll, crab cakes and calamari was good. The highlight was definitely the cocktails and the cute mason jars. In terms of decor and ambiance , the space feels homely and cozy with a gorgeous patio. I would definitely recommend coming here for a chill date or afternoon outing with friends or family. The staff was friendly and the wait time was short.
