Crema's Take

Glo's is a beloved modern diner in Seattle where the wait is legendary but absolutely worth surrendering to—think biscuits and gravy that justify the line and creative brunch dishes like salmon scrambles and eggs Benedict with grilled tomatoes that keep people coming back. The vintage atmosphere feels like a time-traveling treasure tucked into the Cal Anderson Park neighborhood, and the servers genuinely care about making your experience special, whether you snag a coveted table or perch at the bar on a quieter weekday.

Glo’s always has a wildly long wait time but i finally waited and wow was it worth it! The food and service here is amazing! I got the biscuits and gravy and my friend got the salmon scramble and both were perfection to the point our faces melted in enjoyment. Prices are not too bad either for the area ($19-$23), i have certainly had way way worse food for more money in cap hill. I highly recommend Glo’s and will be visiting it again!

This has been a diner on my list to try for a while. Since getting a spot here on a weekend seemed impossible, I decided to show up for a weekday lunch and got a spot at the bar. It's a pretty cool atmosphere, with pride symbols all over and the employees feel unique in their own way. But I was here for the food - and thankfully, it was pretty great I had the Lox Eggs Benedict, which is a pretty standard eggs benedict but with lox instead of ham. This was also served with their hash browns I should start with the hash browns, as these were some of the best I've ever had. It was mindblowing how crispy they were across every single potato strip. Normally, with a bed of hash browns you see the top be crispy and the ones below are quite soft. That was absolutely not the case here; the entire thing was super crispy and yet still tasted fluffy when you bit into the inside. The seasoning was also just perfect, specifically with the amount of salt added. I can't say enough about how good these were The rest of the eggs benedict was also pretty nice. Cutting the eggs open revealed a perfectly jammy and slightly runny yolk - these were poached very well. The hollandaise sauce was creamy with citrus notes, and the salmon was also pretty fresh, although I wished there had been a little more salmon. The English muffin was crispy enough to not fall apart into a soggy mess. The food was very good, but the price for this meal was very expensive. It ended up costing over 33 dollars with tax and tip, which is a LOT for any brunch meal, especially an eggs benedict. Overall, the hash browns were all-time good, and the eggs benedict were very nice. It's not cheap, but it's some excellent diner food. 9/10

Glo’s is one of those places that never disappoints and feels just as magical as it did the first time. Did you have to wait for an eternity to get a seat…we all know you did, but it’s worth it. You need to plan time for this place, it’s not a rushed situation. Now that you are seated, the waitstaff has you covered and will bring you the best fresh squeezed drinks, perfectly rounded delightful poached eggs and any sweet and savory breakfast brunch delight. You can’t go wrong. I’d suggest bringing a friend and sharing sweet and savory. Blackstone on a biscuit with fruit is my favorite order. Sharing a waffle or french toast is highly recommended:) Cheers with a grapefruit and orange mimosa.

Glo's is a modern diner with great food! Hash browns are so so good and my favorite were the grilled tomatoes on eggs Benedict 😋, it added juiciness and an amazing flavor to the Benedict. The servers were so friendly and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this place for breakfast/brunch, but make sure you come here early as there is always a line for brunch closer to 12pm.

Went here near closing time, the atmosphere is very vintage which is cute juxtaposed in the Cal Anderson Park area. Service was fine. Got at least a check in on how we were doing at the very end (as I was writing this review) but not from our assigned server. So I'll be a bit understanding but I've also worked a ton in food so it's still unfortunate. We ordered the Eggs Benedict (I tried the hash browns but not the eggs Bennie. I'm not a hash brown guy so I'll give it a 6/10 but again, not my thing. I myself ordered the Belgian Waffle and Lox Bagel. The latter was a surprise to see something so East Coast out here! Lox Bagel had PLENTY of Salmon so it actually can justify the price and it was brined well. Capers, tomato, and onion all standard affair. Bagel is fine. 7/10. The Belgian Waffle was also pretty good and the whipped cream and butter with strawberries made it pretty tasty! 7/10. The price though of all three of these things came up to $67 before tip! Very expensive! Got no coffee or anything else. That combined with non-existent service (not good or bad) means I can't really justify the value proposition even with it tasting good to something to return to regularly. Overall, 6/10⭐
